Children two years old and under receive free admission into Carowinds, and a ticket is not required for admission into the park.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are probably the least crowded night of the week during the summer. By the time we arrive at 5:30, most people are leaving after spending the whole day there.
Admission is 49.99 at the gate prior to 4, and 23.99 after 4. You can still ride and see all there is in six hours without being hurried. It's not a large park in comparison to Bush Gardens, Six Flags, or Kings Dominion (which Carowinds has it's affiliation).
If so, there are multiple locations within the park you an buy the fast-lane pass. If you are planning to go on a Saturday, the park will most likely be super crowded and fast-lane is worth every penny if you plan to ride coasters over and over.
