In reality, most students need to take two to three SAT Subject Tests. Having helped thousands of students get into college, we find this is one of the top 5 questions students ask, especially high school juniors and seniors.
The Math Level 2 test is offered at various dates throughout the year. June may be the best time to take it, with May as a close runner up. Math II is offered on May 5 and June 2. Its tentative spring dates for 2020 are May 2 and June 6.
If you're thinking of applying early decision or early action to any college, note that many colleges advise that you take the SAT Subject Tests by October or November of your senior year. For regular decision applications, some colleges will accept SAT Subject Test scores through the January administration.
There are still many benefits of taking these exams even if you don't end up submitting your score on your college application. 25 states require SAT or ACT scores as part of high school graduation requirements. And if you are a great test taker, taking the tests may boost your application.

Data Analysis, Statistics and Probability. Both Level 1 and Level 2 include mean, median, mode, range, interquartile range, data interpretation and probability. Level 2 also includes standard deviation. Both include least-squares linear regression, but Level 2 also includes quadratic and exponential regression.

Difficulty of the New SATSo here is the short answer: Yes, the SAT is hard. You have to sit in one place for almost four hours, all while answering questions that range from straightforward to head-scratching difficult. Oh, and the sections are all timed.

The University of California Board of Regents today (May 21) unanimously approved the suspension of the standardized test requirement (ACT/SAT) for all California freshman applicants until fall 2024.
You are not (currently) legally required to take either the SAT or the ACT. Also, sorry! Your state will not pay for you to take either the ACT for free or the SAT for free (though your school district might—and there are subsidies for lower-income students—talk to your guidance counselor).

Score Choice is a feature available to students. However, some colleges require students to submit all scores. The College Board does not release test scores without student consent. Colleges, universities, and scholarship programs will receive only the scores applicants send them.

The subject tests start between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. You'll get a five minute break between each test.
