George Campus is downtown, has a huge population, and large class sizes. UTM (Mississauga) is sophisticated, elegant and has a stronger community/university feel than the other two. UTSC (Scarborough) is dubbed as the “high school” as most of it is connected underground (which is a blessing in the winter).
In engineering, for each individual course, you must have 50% to be considered a pass. However, your semester average must achieve 60% or above to not be put in probation. I know in certain courses, there are also hurdles (i.e. passing your final exam) you must pass to consider passing the course.

Rotman Commerce does not generally accept students with any post-secondary education, transfers from other universities, or second-degree students. Students who choose to apply must complete the Form Requesting Special Consideration, available on the JOIN Portal, to be considered for admission to Rotman Commerce.
The University of Toronto does offer early acceptance. If you are accepted to the Faculty of Arts and Science, you will be invited to an evening event to meet faculty and obtain more information (as long as the Faculty still offers this event). This event will help you in making your decision.

Do you require personal essays, letters of reference, or interviews as part of the admissions process? Although some programs require supplemental applications or student profiles, most programs at the University of Toronto do not.
Overall, getting accepted into U of T (or any Canadian school) will be significantly easier than getting accepted into top US schools. It is easy to get in to U of T, they take your money, ravage your grades in first and second year, and then you either drop out or continue.
Admission to the University of Toronto is highly competitive. In addition to having achieved a high grade point average throughout high school, applicants must present good scores in SAT I (Reasoning) or ACT examinations (for admission in 2006, students should present the Writing Test if taking the ACT).
The final major release of admission offers are made to OUAC 101 and 105 applicants currently in high school. After this round, we continue to make offers to qualified students on a rolling basis.

The U of T Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is U of T's most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students. It covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. The scholarship is tenable only at U of T.

Duolingo English TestTo avoid processing delays, do not send your results until you have received your U of T applicant number. To send your results, log in to your Duolingo English Test account and use the “Send Results” function to forward your results to “University of Toronto – Undergraduate”.
As a rule, Canadian universities do not require essays, teacher references, or lists of extracurricular achievement in addition to academic achievement. However, some institutions may invite students to provide a personal statement, and others may ask for supplemental applications for more competitive programs.
Graduates with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (B or 70%) will be eligible for admission consideration and granted 48 transfer credits (the equivalent of a year and a half of studies). Graduates must apply directly to York University.
You can take a look of possible transfer credits that would count towards Ryerson's program requirements. Although this applies for current York and Ryerson students taking courses at the other school, the Ryerson-York Exchange also has a list of approved transferable courses that would still count.

In general, a transfer student is one who begins their college academic career at one institution, earns some credits through completion of coursework, and then decides for whatever reason to transfer to a different school to finish their education.
No, it is not. Having seen some of the content covered by courses intended for CS/math/physics majors at Harvard, MIT, UCB etc, it is much harder. Harvard is more selective, yes, but it doesn't mean the average student is smarter than the average student at UofT. To get into UofT, admissions ONLY looks at your marks
Is a 2.7 GPA good? This GPA means that you've earned an average grade of a B- across all of your classes. Since a 2.7 GPA is lower than the national average of 3.0 for high school students, it will limit your options for college. You can apply to colleges and have a good shot at getting admitted.

At most high schools, this means that the highest GPA you can get is a 5.0. A 4.5 GPA indicates that you're in very good shape for college. You're most likely in high level classes earning As and high Bs. You have a low chance of getting into with a 4.5 GPA.
your grade 11 marks will be looked at if you're on the edge of acceptance. right now your marks are too low to be accepted for humanities to uoft st. george, but if you manage to pick the marks up enough, grade 11 won't be a factor.
