The
data is saved in the account and not the device. This means that so long as
you use the same miHoYo account,
you can access your game file in different devices.

CD Projekt Red has said there are no plans to bring cross-save functionality to The Witcher 3 on platforms other than Switch. A patch was released today for The Witcher 3 that allows cross-save functionality between Switch and PC versions of the game.
To transfer data to and from the Switch, you simply need to choose the Cross Save option in the game's main menu and link your Steam or Epic account. After that, just pause and quit to upload your save data to access your file on whichever platform you want to play on.
Cyberpunk 2077 has cross-save compatibility between last-gen and new-gen consoles. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will have cross-save functionality within the same family of consoles. So, PS4 saves can be transferred to PS5; likewise, Xbox One saves are compatible with Xbox Series S/X devices.
The save file location for the Witcher 3 on Windows is X:UsersusernameDocumentsThe Witcher 3gamesaves, where “X” is the hard drive that holds your Documents files.
If you already have Witcher 3 save files on your Steam or GOG account, all you have to do is click “Cloud Save” in the Witcher 3 menu (make sure you update to version 3.6). Pick whether to login to Steam or GOG, punch in your account information, and simply pick the save file you want to use.
Destiny 2 cross saves allows you to carry your progression between multiple platforms - whether it's PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PC or Google Stadia. This means you can play on a console in one session, then transition to playing on PC with all your progress intact.
To find your save files, visit Valve's View Steam Cloud page in your web browser and sign in with your Steam account. You'll see a list of games using your Steam Cloud storage. Locate the game in the list (hit Ctrl+F to use the browser's search)—and click “Show Files” to see all the files for a game.
To move an installed game once you've added a second library, right-click it in your Steam library and select “Properties”. Click the “Local Files” tab and click the “Move Install Folder” button. Select the Steam library you want to move the game to and click the “Move Folder” button. You're done.
The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 have exactly zero multiplayer components to them. You can't play with a friend, you can't do battle against strangers.
To get your free Witcher 3, download and open GOG Galaxy 2.0, click the promotion's banner on the Witcher 3 page, and connect to the platform you own Witcher 3 on. The version you'll get is the same one you already own on the other platform, either standard edition or Game of the Year.
If you are not fussy about 60FPS and just want to experience a solid version with no fiddling around, PS4 is still a great choice, but I would highly recommend the PC version.
So should you simulate a Witcher 2 save in The Witcher 3? The short answer, in our opinion, is yes. Doing so immediately gives you some juicy dialogue options early in the game, and you can shape Geralt's recent past to your liking. This is a role-playing game, after all.

Update 3.6 added the ability to use a new cross-save feature in The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch. Once you have cloud saves enabled, launch the Nintendo Switch version of the game. You'll find that a new option is now available on the main menu called Cloud Saves. This is where you'll activate cross-save capabilities.
Enabling & Disabling The Steam Cloud
- From the Steam Library, right click on any game and select Properties.
- Under the Update tab, the Cloud Synchronization setting can be toggled.
To download a backup from within System Settings:
- From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings" > "Data Management" > "Save Data Cloud".
- Select the desired user, then choose the backup file you wish to download.
- Select “Download Save Data”.
