There is no way to transmit only audio data via HDMI. The HDMI white paper (page 10) notes that the signal is sent in HDMI packets consisting of both audio and video. Despite all the pins, there are no separate audio and video signals, so there are also no HDMI A/V splitter cables.
The one standout in home audio/video market is the optical audio cable. Unlike other cabling standards, the optical audio system uses fiber optic cables and laser light to transmit digital audio signals between devices. (This is why you'll sometimes hear them referred to as Toshiba-Link, or TOSLINK cables.)
Connect the component video cable (Green, Blue, Red RCA) to the DVD player. Next, connect the White and RED audio RCA cables to the corresponding connectors on the back of the DVD player. Take the other side of the component video cable and audio cables and connect them to your TV.
All you need to do is connect the AUDIO OUT to the TV's HDMI port. After that, use the amplifier's output connection to connect it to the speaker. If you think about it, the two-channel amplifier literally acts in the same way as a receiver, so there's not a lot of difference in terms of connection.
You can buy an adapter or a cable that will let you connect it to the standard HDMI port on your TV. If you don't have Micro HDMI, see if your laptop has a DisplayPort, which can handle the same digital video and audio signals as HDMI. You can buy a DisplayPort/HDMI adapter or cable cheaply and easily.
- Connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI ports labeled ARC, or the port identified in your manual that supports ARC.

You can connect a Bluetooth speaker to a projector. Bluetooth audio isn't standard on all projectors, though, so you'll need to make sure the projector you have, or the one you want to get, supports Bluetooth audio.
You can connect the Fire TV Stick from Amazon to many projectors out there, particularly the ones with an HDMI connection. Unlike the Roku player collection, the vast majority of the models of the FireStick are compatible with projector use via HDMI port.
HDMI cables can transfer video and audio in high definition quality from one device to another. There are a variety of reasons you may not be hearing source audio on another device when using an HDMI cable; the settings may not be correct on one of the devices, the hardware may be faulty or the cable itself may be bad.
The easiest method to connect an Android device to a projector is to use Google Chromecast. To do this, your projector must support HDMI connections. Once you plug your Chromecast into the HDMI port, you can then wirelessly stream your Android device screen to it.
To connect two output sources to a soundbar that does not support HDMI, you can connect the HDMI output port on each device to the two HDMI input ports on the projector to broadcast video, and then connect either the SPDIF output port or 3.5mm audio jack on the projector to the soundbar.
If you are using a steaming device connected to the HDMI port on the projector, pair wireless Bluetooth speakers or a soundbar to the streaming device. Connect your video source to an audio system first, and then connect the projector to the video out port of the audio system (if available).
Your smartphone is more than adequate for playing Netflix movies on a projector. The Netflix application is available for Android as well as iOS devices and users can install it on their phone for watching movies and shows via the projector.
Connecting HDMI with the Projector as the SourceMany projectors are now capable of downloading and using apps such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. Since most projectors either don't have a speaker or not a very good one, a soundbar is a streamlined audio option. Soundbars are compact and usually lightweight.
Adjust the projector's volume settings. Check the audio cable connections between the projector and your video source. If you do not hear sound from an HDMI source, set the connected device to PCM output. Make sure any connected audio cables are labelled "No Resistance".
To use a projector outside during the day, you will have to make sure that the projector can emit at least 3,000+ lumens. This type of brightness is essential to see the movie.
PCM: This stands for “pulse-code modulation.” Use this setting if the external device you've connected to the HDMI port has already processed the sound, and you just want it to come out of your TV's speakers.

If you're sitting further away from your screen (hopefully in comfortable seating), projectors have the edge; if your room is smaller, or you're sitting closer to your screen, it's probably better to get a TV instead.
1. A projector can take up no floor or wall space. With a television, you either have to mount it to the wall, or you need have a stand that's the size of a hefty cabinet resting under it. Not only does the latter solution use valuable floor space, it often makes the TV the focus point of an entire living room.
To be fair, people who buy very cheap projectors are generally not familiar with higher performance models and don't have anything to compare them to. For many buyers, just to power one on and get a big picture on the wall for the first time is worth a 5-star rating. 3.
Suggested Lumen Counts for Large SettingsThe final brightness level to note is 5000+ ANSI lumens. This provides a 100”+ picture size, making it ideal for large meeting rooms, exhibition halls, auditoriums, and more. If you have a high-quality projector with a high lumen count, then you can use it outdoors during the day. While projectors can be used outside on a sunny day if the lumens are high enough, it still won't possible to watch your projector in the direct sun. So, the shadier the location, the better.
