While Valve's produced a handful of sequels, it's never published a third follow-up to any of its games, no matter how popular those games are. It's not just Portal. Valve has yet to make a sequel to Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, or, much to fans' chagrin, Half-Life 2.
The Host player needs to select “Multiplayer (same Wi-Fi)†after pressing Play. Create or select a character and a universe before continuing in-game. At this point, Players (once they've created or selected a character) can then join this game by selecting Join on the character selection screen.
Portal 2 developer Valve has added a new split-screen option for the PC version's co-op mode. A new patch enables Big Picture support for the game - Valve's Steam option designed to suit TV and gamepad play. With the update installed, players will be able to take part in standard two-player co-op on the same screen.
You'll be able to play the cooperative mode of Valve's brainy, puzzle-adventure, Portal 2, cross-platform, as Mac or PC players can team up alongside gamers on PlayStation 3, the developer has announced.
You can also type using two keyboards at once. This unfortunately means you cannot pay co-op with two sets of keyboard and mouse. The 360-emulator reads the controllers unique id, which is used to tell them apart. Keyboards and mice do not have this capability.
"Portal" supports the use of gamepads out of the box, and users can configure their gamepad for use by clicking a few of the game's options. Plug the gamepad into the PC and run the "Portal" game application. Click "Options" on the main screen and select the "Mouse" tab.
- Allow Developer Console. If you wanna use cheats: Esc -> Options -> Keyboard/Mouse -> Allow Developer Console.
- Spawns. Companion Cube: ent_create_portal_companion_cube.
- Environment. Turn Cheats On: sv_cheats # (0=off, 1=on)

You can play HL2 with a controller no problem. Just check "enable gamepad" on the mouse tab in options. You might need to rebind the controls to whatever you feel is best though. As for Bioshock Infinite and Fallout, they both fully support the 360 controller too.
On your PC, press the Start button î• , then select Settings > Devices. Choose Add Bluetooth or other device, then select Everything else. Choose Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox Elite Wireless Controller from the list. When connected, the Xbox button î£ on the controller will stay lit.
Portal is finally coming to Nintendo Switch, although there's a major catch. The Nintendo Switch isn't getting a port of the original Portal or its sequel, but rather a brand new spinoff called Bridge Constructor Portal.

Connect the PS4 controller to your PC via BluetoothTo connect the PS4 controller via Bluetooth, press and hold the central PS Button and the Share button for three seconds until the lightbar at the top of the controller begins to flash. Next open up the Bluetooth settings on your PC.
Portal 2 features a separate two-player co-operative campaign, playable over the internet, and new gameplay features include physics-changing paint. "The game's two-player co-operative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters," it said.

You will be able to use a controller that supports XInput, such as an XBox One controller, while playing the PC version of the game! ESO should detect the controller and switch to controller mode allowing you to experience a console like user interface. The keyboard will continue to work for chat, etc.
I'd recommend both Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Mount&Blade Warband, DOOM (Singleplayer), even Half-Life 1 or 2, Mass Effect, or anything casual really so you can get use to the mouse and WASD And if you do want a difficulty spike with playing competitive gameplay, I lowering the mouse sensitivity or DPI.

Controller Aim assist is set at 100 by default. All default aiming settings for controller have been updated. This includes sensitivity, ADS, extra speed delay and time settings.
