Prezi is a presentation tool that can be used as an alternative to traditional slide making programs such as PowerPoint. Instead of slides, Prezi makes use of one large canvas that allows you to pan and zoom to various parts of the canvas and emphasize the ideas presented there.
You need only see a Prezi presentation in action to see it is more fluid, vibrant and generally more impressive than Powerpoint. If Powerpoint is lined paper and a pen, Prezi is a blank canvas and paint. 3D rather than linear, it lends itself to creativity and highly graphical, visually compelling presentations.
Just using Prezi, even in its earliest, most limited form, could help you stand out from the PowerPoint crowd. We recommend Prezi still, but only sometimes, and we use Prezi, but less and less now as we, and our clients see other tools like PowerPoint. Keynote, SlideBean, Zeetings and many others close the gap.
So what's the deal, is Prezi a paid software or can I also use it for free? The answer is Yes, you can use it for free. To create a free account, choose the “Continue Free” button on the signup page. Prezi has many different landing pages for new free accounts but all of them lead to this same signup page.
It is no longer supported. However, you can view and display your prezis on your Android or iOS device with the Prezi Mobile Viewer. You'll need iOS 9 or higher to use it on an iPhone or iPad. Android devices need KitKat or newer.

How does a prezi work? Most types of presentation software use a slide-based approach, where you move back and forth between individual slides, kind of like pages in a book. Instead of using slides, Prezi has one very large canvas that your presentation moves around on, zooming in and out to view various frames.
