So Archer wants to kill Shirou because he regrets his decision of becoming a Heroic Spirit? Because Kiritsugu was right? (that you have to kill people to save others). Archer regrets having become a Heroic Spirit because he did so by becoming a Counter Guardian (as opposed to by becoming an actual Hero).
Gilgamesh never truly loves Saber and is quite disrespectful toward her. The irony is that should Saber ever lose sight of her ideal, he will drop her instantly. In all of that, it's just that this admiration he has for her and this part alone seems genuine.

Emiya Alter has it worse so his skin is darker. Archer Emiya doesnt look like a natural tanned person because hes not natural tanned. His skin colour is part of his identity, journey and in Alters case bad decisions and thus it never needed to look natural.
Archer's only chance to win the War would have been to cooperate with someone else until the end, ideally Saber (who Archers knows for sure can take enough lives off Berserker to finish him off after he himself takes five or six). And ultimately, there is no ally that would allow Archer to defeat Gilgamesh.
Why doesn't archer try to kill shirou in fate route ? He didn't get the same opportunity as in UBW. Due to damage received from Saber early on he had to spend a lot of time recuperating, and when he finally got back on his feet he ended up sacrificing himself against Berserker.
