Mould your fabric to shape and dry. If yourequire a stiffer finish you may increase the amount of gluesubstantially. A really stiff and permanent result can be achievedwith equal parts glue and water. Starch and corn flour: Mix 1tablespoon of starch and 2 cups of water.
Cornstarch Natural FabricStiffener
Dissolve 1 Tbsp of cornstarch in 1/4 C coldwater. Meanwhile, boil 1/4 C of water. Slowly, add thecornstarch solution to boiling water and whisk and boiluntil the solution bubbles. Take the solution off the heat and coolto room temperature before using.Dilute the glue using equal parts of glueand water and mix continuously to obtain a paste with an evenconsistency.
