You can also try signing up for newsletters, as well as complaining when a product is bad. Most companies want to keep their customers happy, so they'll often send you products if you just ask.
On a separate website dedicated to product testing, Nike broke down the application process simply: apply to be a tester, get the green light by being selected to participate and then you're eligible to test.
20Cogs is a website that allows you to make easy money through sign-ups and taking out free trials. These sign-ups take little time and the payout is great so it is definitely worth your time (you can make about £100 per hour). The tasks are known as cogs and you have to complete 20 of them to be eligible for a payout.
