How do I reset my LG television to factory settings?
- Step 1: open the menu.
- Step 2: open All settings. Select the option Support and press the OK button.
- Step 3: navigate to General. Select the General option.
- Step 4: go to Reset to Initial Settings. Go down until you see the Reset to initial settings option.
- Step 5: confirm the reset.
Netflix and LG partnered to provide streaming movies using the Netflix on-screen application. Using the NetCast menu, Netflix movies stream directly to your television from your queue, or from the on-screen menu. Netflix is available within minutes of activation. Set up the Internet connection to your LG TV.
Press the SMART button on the remote control and select Settings > Option on the TV menu.
Reset the Netflix app
- From the Home screen, select Settings.
- Swipe down until you locate the Netflix app.
- Select Netflix.

- Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
- Press the Home button twice and swipe right until you locate the Netflix app.
The Smart Hub menu (accessible via the Smart Hub button on the remote) consists of a full screen, which displays your currently viewed TV channel in a small box, while the rest your TV settings and content selection options — including Samsung Apps — are displayed on the remaining portion of the screen.
On an iPad and Android devices: tap the hamburger menu button represented as three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the screen. From the menu, tap the active profile at the top to reach the "Who's Watching?" screen, then tap Edit at the top-right corner to manage profiles.
Reset the Netflix app
- From the Home screen, select Settings.
- Swipe down until you locate the Netflix app.
- Select Netflix.

- Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
- Press the Home button twice and swipe right until you locate the Netflix app.
Navigate to “Deactivate” using the “Down” arrow, and then press the “Select” button to select the option. Press the “Select” button on the “Yes” option in the confirmation prompt. Your Netflix account is logged off of the Samsung TV.
Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue. While in the Netflix app, tap the Menu button in the upper left corner or the More button in the lower right corner. Scroll down and select Sign Out. Once you have signed out, sign back in and try Netflix again.
To use your Android mobile device as a remote:
- Connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV.
- Launch the Netflix app on both your TV and your mobile device.
- Sign in to the same Netflix account on both your TV and your mobile device.
- Select the Cast icon.
To prevent anyone seeing your account information or make changes to your Netflix account,
- Sign in to your accoun.
- Change your password.
- Don't ask for every one to login with the new password.
- Keep them sign in with the old password , they still on your account but can't make changes or see your account information.
Once you have an active Netflix membership, you can have six (6) devices registered to your account at any given time, and you may stream up to two (2) movies or TV shows at the same time by default. There is also an option to upgrade to four (4) streams at the same time from the Your Account page.
Netflix will allow users to password protect their profiles by a 4 digit PIN. If you have Kids profile opened up on your iPad or TV, your kids can also switch to other profiles without any password. This can lead to them watching some age-inappropriate content.
The streaming service already limits the number of devices that can stream from one account, and users can currently share accounts to some extent but are required to limit to one household by setting up individual profiles.

Depending upon which plan you choose, you can get higher quality video (including 4K Ultra HD) and family-friendly features like the ability to watch video on more than one screen at a time.
Click "Your Account." Sign in to your Netflix account and hover your cursor over your profile name to reveal a drop-down menu. Select "Your Account" from the menu to open the My Account page. Review the My Account page sections.
From the home screen on the Netflix app on your TV, press the up arrow on your remote until you get to the menu bar, then select Settings. Your email address will appear.
Switch Accounts
- Tap the Netflix app icon to open the service.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the app's Home screen and then tap “Sign Out.”
- Enter the email and password of the account you wish to sign in as and then tap “Sign In” to sign in to that account.
Click on "Your Account & Help" in the upper-right corner of the home page. Click on "Manage Netflix-ready devices and computers". Click on the "deactivate" button and click the button to confirm the deactivation.
How to connect
- find the Ethernet port on the back of your TV.
- connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the port on your TV.
- select Menu on your TV's remote and then go to Network Settings.
- select the option to enable wired internet.
- type your Wi-Fi password using your remote's buttons.
- Go to Manage Netflix ready devices and computers.
- Click the "Deactivate Devices" link.
- This will deactivate all your Netflix-ready devices upon confirmation.
- Deactivated devices can be reactivated later.
