Admission to all programs at the University of Calgary is competitive. While every attempt will be made to accept all qualified applicants to the University of Calgary, enrolment will be limited to the number of students that can be accommodated by the resources available to maintain an acceptable quality of education.
UofA is better in ranking and is much more established than UofC. UofC was UofA till they separated themselves to establish individual universities in the two cities.

Step 1: Log in to my.ucalgary.ca (or your Student Centre) using your eID and password (this is the same eID & password used to create your online application). Step 2: In your Student Centre, click on the My Application tab (on the left-hand side of the main page under the Home tab).
The UCID is your student identification number. The UCID is a nine–character identifier. All UCIDs begin with the letter “M” followed by eight numbers (for example, “M00345678”). Your UCID may have a zero ("0") as one of its characters but it will never have the letter "O" as in "Ohio".
The University of Calgary accepts payment for tuition and general fees primarily through online bank transfers. Both domestic and international students can pay their fees online from nearly anywhere in the world. The preferred method of payment is through online banking with a Canadian bank account.
Domestic students wishing to be considered full-time need to enrol in a minimum of 12 UOC each term, or 36 UOC across three standard terms with at least one course enrolment in each term.
The UCID is an 8-digit University of Calgary identification number associated with your Continuing Education records. UCID is Unique Customer Identification Number generated for you. All products & services subscribed by you are mapped to your UCID.
Students declare a Minor by requesting a Change of Program through the Student Centre. Students may declare up to two Minors. The completion of a Minor is recorded on the transcript.
The University of Calgary has set aside five days at the start of Fall and Winter Terms as Block Weeks mainly for the offering of regular courses in an intensive manner. Dates for Block Weeks are given in the Academic Schedule.
Do official transcripts show classes in progress? Yes. Depending on why you need your college transcripts, if you're applying to another college as a transfer student, you're applying to grad school or for a job that requests your college transcripts, you will need to order "official transcripts."
Transcripts in India
- Make copies of all mark sheets (photocopy, zerox)
- Put them in an envelop.
- Pay the fees at university for transcripts ( I think its around Rs 100 to Rs200 per transcript)
- Submit the copies to University Registrar office.
- Registrar will verify the mark sheets and sign each page.

What does an academic transcript contain? An academic transcript states your name, the institution you studied at, and a list of all courses taken, all grades received and degrees conferred. It should provide full details of the degree class and grades you received in each unit or module.
Steps to apply
- Create an ApplyAlberta account. Beginning Oct.
- Create or enter your eID. As part of the application, you'll be asked to enter or create your UCalgary eID.
- Complete your application.
- Submit your application and pay the $125 application fee.
- Submit your required document.
Order your official transcript
- Log in to mySAIT.
- Go to the myStudent tab.
- Choose Student Profile.
- Choose Academic Transcript.
- Choose Request Printed Transcript and enter a delivery address.
- Pay the $15 fee.
Step 2: In your Student Centre, click on the My Application tab (on the left-hand side of the main page, under the Home tab). Step 3: This will navigate to your Application Page where you can scroll down to My Applications and click the Upload link.
Official Transcript. Official transcripts are documents that are produced by the registrar's office and must be ordered according to the instructions on the Request a Transcript page. Unofficial transcripts are available to current students via self-service from the Student Information System.

- The $10 order fee is paid by credit card.

Most Canadian universities have a GPA out of 4.0 – but some use a GPA out of 9.0. The tables below show the basic percentage equivalency for the two scales. The overall GPA number is 90.99. This number must be divided by the number of credit hours to get the current GPA – i.e. 90.99/30 = 3.033.
You are urged to be realistic about your chances of admissions and about alternative options should you not be admitted. A typical first year class has a GPA in the range of 3.60 (on a 4.0 scale), an LSAT score around the 80th percentile, and an average age of 26 (a range of early 20s to mid-50s).

How to Convert Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale

The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) are not required for admission; however, a student may choose to submit test results as part of a diverse qualification application.
