Click on the wrench icon located on the far right side of the Google Toolbar. The Toolbar Options window will display. Click on the tab labeled "Custom Buttons." The Custom Buttons tab contains a list of different websites you can add to the toolbar, then access by clicking on that particular button.
Launch Google Chrome, click on the Wrench menu and select Settings. Under On Startup section, select Open a Specific Page or Set of Pages. Click on Set Pages button. This includes websites that you want to open at Google Chrome startup.
On the top extreme right corner of you page, you will see an icon consisting of three thick horizontal bars; click on it, a window will open and you will see your wrench at the bottom.

Chrome Theme Maker is a similar web app to Theme Creator with which you can add custom themes to Google's browser. Removing the Google Background Image by Changing it
- Click on the “Add background image” link on the lower corner of Google.com.

Gmail Background Images. So this is a strange one. Since Gmail has started loading images by defult they are now supporting background images. However if you disable images as defult in the settings the backgrounds are stripped (even when you click to show images).

- In the top right, click Settings .
- Click Themes.
- In the bottom left, click My Photos.
- Choose a picture, or click Featured.
- Click Select.
- Near the bottom, to make changes to the theme, click Text Background , Vignette , or Blur .
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com). User settings. Scroll to the Themes section and uncheck the Let users choose their own themes box if it's checked. Click Save changes.
- Sign in to your Gmail account.
- Click the settings gear cog icon at the top right and select "Mail Settings."
- Select the "Themes" tab.
- Click "Create Your Own Theme."
