Are you an Excel whiz who loves nothing more than manipulating data? So, you can now export any project from Asana to a CSV file where you can customize this data in whatever way your team finds most useful. To export a project, simply click on the drop-down arrow in the Project Actions menu and select 'Export > CSV. '
As it stands, there isn't a built feature to print or export Timelines in Asana. One workaround I would recommend you is to use the browser print feature.
To see a Gantt chart of an existing project in Asana, look for the new Timeline tab to appear in the app. Clicking on it should bring up a visual representation of your project's schedule, as long as the project has sufficient data, such as start dates and due dates for tasks.
There are two ways to move a task to a different Section:
- Drag and drop the task between Sections in the main pane. Read more.
- Click the Section name in the right pane. Read more and select a different Section from the drop down list.
Select all of the tasks you want to move, then simply drag them over to the other project in the sidebar. They'll automatically be placed at the top of the other project, so you'll just need to reorder them. Done!
What we currently have to do, since there is not a multiple copy feature:
- click on task.
- make a copy of task.
- check to include additional associated info.
- select all of these new copied tasks.
- add the project tag of the new one we'd like them to go to.
Asana Premium costs $10.99 per user per month when billed annually and $13.49 per user per month when billed monthly.
The only option to find archived projects is by scrolling through the archived products list under the team on the sidebar.
How do I mark a project to be complete? We “complete” projects by archiving them. In your left-hand sidebar, you can click on the three dots next to any project in your team list and select “archive.” This will hide it from your list which keeps things clean.
Try this (
jira.plugins.
jira-
clone-
project-plugin).
Just to update this thread.
- Create Project.
- Choose a Template. Scroll to the bottom of the list and Choose "Create with Shared Configuration".
- Choose a project from the list that you want to "clone"
Duplicate projects and clips
- In the Libraries sidebar in Final Cut Pro, select the event that contains the clips or projects you want to copy.
- In the browser, select the clips or projects you want to copy. Note: You can't select clips and projects at the same time.
- Choose Edit > Duplicate (or press Command-D).
To hide an archive project in the Home screen, you just need to unfavorite it by following these steps:
- Click the three dot icon when hovering over a project.
- Select Remove from Favorites.
Click the three dots and select the Archive option within the Manage Project section. You can also archive directly from the Projects area of your site. Hover over the relevant project in the list and click the three dots to the right of the project name. Go to the Manage Project subsection and choose Archive.
Tasks can't be archived, but they can be marked completed; if you need to mark multiple ones completed at once, simply use the multiselect function and mark all your tasks completed in one click!
How can I delete a Project in Mobile Asana Android app ?
- Access your project.
- Click on the dropdown menu just next to your project title.
- Click on Overview.
- Tap the three dot icon in the top right corner and the option to Delete your project will be in this drop-down menu.
If you scroll a little higher in the task, below the description and just below Add to Project, you should see the actual attachment with a paper clip to the far left. You can delete it from there.
Here is how you can rename a free Workspace:

While on the Workspace, if you go to “more > Remove me from this Workspace” then it will delete it from your view. You DO NOT Delete a WorkSpace as it may have substance that may be important to someone. Delete all the tasks and info and then Leave the Workspace. The Deletion will be completed.
