The What You Choose to Be Special Research is a five-stage Research, featuring various tasks, rewards, Pokemon encounters, and other cool bonuses. Ticket holders can access the What You Choose to Be Special Research on August 14 and August 15, 2021, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time each day.
Field Research tasks can be collected by visiting nearby PokéStops or automatically during specified time periods. Special Research is guided by Professor Willow with more challenging tasks but with greater rewards.
Victini research step 1 of 6
- Catch 30 Pokémon (3 Pinap Berries)
- Spin 30 PokéStops or gyms (1,000 XP)
- Send 10 gifts to friends (1,000 Stardust)
Pokemon Go: A Thousand-Year Slumber (5/7)
- Battle a team leader 3 times (Kricketune encounter)
- Win against another trainer 7 times (3,000 XP)

Most Special Research tasks are available once the player reaches level 5. They can only be completed once, and tasks cannot be deleted.
Completing a field research task is the easiest way to catch an Aerodactyl. It only requires you to complete 5 raids. Successfully completing this task means that you'll be rewarded with an Aerodactyl. This is a surefire way to catch this Pokemon.
Use the Ingress Intel Map. Finding PokeStops and Gyms in Pokemon Go is, well, very simple. Just open up the app and take a look around -- PokeStops look like little blue cubes, and Gyms are taller structures with Pokemon defending them. There's a catch, though.
Aerodactyl can be defeated by solo Trainers. However, to avoid having to relobby, be sure that you've chosen the best counters with their most useful moves unlocked. Using the Circle Lock Technique to guarantee Great or Excellent throws, along with Golden Razz Berries, is the best way to catch Aerodactyl.
Catch 5 Exeggcute: You get an Exeggcute from the "Hatch an Egg" field research, so keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, Exeggcute is a grass Pokémon and will be found more often during sunny or clear weather and in grass biomes. Furthermore, if you see an Alolan Exeggutor raid, do it!
It won't be easy, but the grand prize is worth working for—a chance to catch Mew, the first Mythical Pokémon available in Pokémon GO! You'll also earn fantastic items as you complete stages of Special Research, including Rare Candy, Stardust, and XP.
Dragonair is a Dragon-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Dratini after being fed 25 candies and evolves into Dragonite when fed 100 candies.
Dratini evolves into Dragonair which costs 25 Candy, which then evolves into Dragonite costing 100 Candy.
How to get Shadow Mewtwo in Pokemon GO
- Spin 5 Poké Stops (500 Stardust)
- Defeat Team Go Rocket Grunts (500 Stardust)
- Catch 1 Shadow Pokémon (Meowth encounter)
Event Field Research: Completing certain Field Research tasks during this event will reward players with an Eevee encounter. This has the chance to be Shiny.
So far it seems that Dratini can only be found in the Crown Tundra and not in the Isle of Armor or the main Galar region. It can be found in any area with water via surfing on top of it and encountering it like normal or by fishing in a body of water.
Meltan is the newest legendary Pokémon - Polygon.
As you may remember, a long time ago we had a Research that was called Jump-Start Research. Well, now, in July 2021, you can complete it again, as it has made its comeback in the game as a part of the “Five-Year Anniversary†event.
You can get Zarude in Pokémon GO by picking up the Secrets of the Jungle Special Research tasks in-game from Oct.1–10. You can complete the quests at any time, but you need to log into the game between those dates to pick them up first.
The mythical Pokemon will be distributed via a download code, which will be included in October's Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter. To receive the code, you must create a free Pokemon Trainer Club account on the official Pokemon website and opt in to email marketing by Saturday, Sept. 25.
Zarude will be available to all players when October 1 rolls around. However, rather than beating and capturing it by fighting it at any of the gym raids, Zarude will be a reward for the Secrets of the Jungle Special Research quest that releases on October 1 at 10 AM in your local time zone called Search for Zarude!
The Pokemon GO Zarude Special Research Tasks are available to claim from October 1-10, 2021, after which fans will be able to complete them at any time.
They spawn four times a day at six-hour intervals, so it's best to check regularly. Below, we're going to explore both James and Jessie's lineup in Pokemon Go, and the best counters you should be using to take advantage of their weaknesses.
Thanks to the Finding Your Voice special research quest, Meloetta can now be caught by every trainer in Pokémon Go. Meloetta can now stand alongside Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Victini, Hoopa and Meltan as mythical Pokémon, which, in Pokémon Go, are obtained by completing special research quests.
