Brandy computer OneKey Recovery: The Lenovo OneKey Recovery 8.0 is software preloaded on Lenovo, idea laptops, designed to back up and restore your computer. You can use it to restore the system partition to its original status in case of a system failure.
Use the following steps:
- In Windows (or power off PC), press the Novo button or double-click the OneKey Recovery icon to start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery System.
- From the Novo Button Menu --> choose System Recovery.
- Select either Restore from user's backup or Restore from initial backup, then click Next.
- Turn on the computer, wait for the Lenovo logo, then press the F12 key to enter the Boot Menu.
- Under System Recovery Options, click Next.
- Use Recovery tools to repair the system.
- Click OK.
- Click System Image Recovery.
- Insert DVD or disk, click Retry.
- Select Use the latest available system image.

Step 2: Set Lenovo laptop boot from password recovery disk
- Unplug the USB or CD password reset disk from that computer, and plug it into your locked Lenovo laptop.
- Power on Lenovo laptop, and immediately press F12 key repeatedly when the Lenovo logo appears, until Start Menu appears.
Steps to Unlock Lenovo Laptop Password Using Factory Re-settings:
- Turn on your Lenovo laptop.

2.Power-on password
- Restart the computer. When the logo screen is displayed, press F1 to start the ThinkPad Setup program.

How to Factory Reset Windows 10
- Access Settings. Click the Start Menu and select the gear icon () to open up the Settings window.
- Update & Security. Under Settings, click Update & Security to continue.
- Choose Recovery Options. Click the Recovery tab and select "Get started" under Reset this PC.
- Save or Remove Files.
- Reset Your Computer.
- First is to do a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again with the battery and charger. - Next test to try would be to remove the battery again and connect just the AC adapter and see if it will boot up or not.
When your Lenovo Thinkpad won't turn on, you can usually fix it yourself in about a minute if you remove the battery, unplug it, and hold down the power button long enough. First, unplug the AC adapter from the laptop and/or undock the laptop. Next, flip over the laptop and slide the latch open to release the battery.
Disconnect your laptop from its charger and make sure it is powered off. Take out the battery. Push the power button 10 times at 1-second intervals. Push and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
First thing to do is a hard reboot. Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter. Then, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. After that, try booting it up again with the battery and charger.

If your Lenovo laptop is running Windows, you can restart the Lenovo laptop using the Windows Start menu or by holding down the power button. If there is a Lenovo reset button on your computer, you can use this as well. Be aware that if you force your computer to restart, you may lose data.
How to do a "hard reset" on many laptops
- Power off your laptop.
- Disconnect AC adapter (if it's connected).
- Take off the battery.
- Press and hold power button several time for several seconds each time.
- Release power button.
- Put in back the battery and reconnect AC.
- Power on.
Some Lenovo computers have a physical reset button that reboots the computer. In some cases, this is a recessed button you press with a paper clip or something similar. Look for it on the underside of the laptop or contact Lenovo with questions about how to find the button.
