Hello Sym, if you don't see your photos on Google Photos on the web and the app is stuck on uploading [x] amount of photos, this means the app is stuck and your photos are not automatically backing up. Please try resetting the app as follows: Android: Settings > Apps > Google Photos > Storage > Clear Storage/Data.
