Select “Settings” near the bottom of the pop-up menu. Locate and tap on “Passwords” partway down the list. Within the password menu, you can scroll through all of your saved passwords.
How to hide user accounts from the sign-in screen
- Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run command, type netplwiz, and click OK to open User Accounts.
- Select the account you want to hide and click Properties.
- Make note of the User name for the account.
To see a list of all the usernames and passwords saved to Chrome, open up the passwords menu by clicking your profile picture in the top right corner, then click again on “Passwords.” You can also type chrome://settings/passwords into the Omnibox and hit Enter.

To delete individual passwords:
- Open the Tools menu.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click Content.
- Under AutoComplete, click Settings.
- Click on Manage Passwords.
- Click on the Web Credentials Manager.
- Click on the drop down arrow by the web site you want to remove the password.
- Click on Remove.
Tap the menu button, then tap Settings at the bottom. Open Autofill, and then the toggle next to Android Oreo Autofill. You'll be asked to give permission to autofill, which you can accept.
Here you go.
- Click the Menu button (three dots) on top right of your Chrome browser.
- Select Settings.
- Select Show Advanced Settings option towards the bottom.
- In the Passwords and Forms section, check Offer to save passwords I enter on the web.
In your Web session – General tab – enter your web browser URL. Then in the Login tab, click on the Authentication mode drop-down menu and select Form. Next, in the Credentials tab, enter your username and password. In the Html Control ID tab, you'll notice two options: Automatic and Discover.
If Google Chrome won't save passwords, then you might be able to fix the problem simply by resetting Chrome to the default. To make sure that your important data such as bookmarks and passwords aren't deleted, be sure to back them up or sync them in the cloud. Open the Settings tab in Chrome.
How to save a Login manually in your browser
- Visit the sign-in page for the website where you want to save a Login item.
- Enter your username and password. Do not press Enter or click Sign In.
- Click the 1Password button in your browser. If 1Password is locked, enter your Master Password.
- In 1Password, click. and choose New Login (or “Save new login” on Windows).
If you've forgotten your Windows 8.1 password, there are several ways to retrieve or reset it:
- If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.
- If you're using a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online.
- If you're using a local account, use your password hint as a reminder.
Logins and passwords
- When you open the Passwords section of your Android app, this is what you will see.
- Tap on the green plus sign (+) at the bottom right to add a new login.
- Then, choose a website from the list of your most visited websites, or enter a new website and click Next.
If you want to just delete specific autofill entries:
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Settings.
- Click “Show advanced settings” and find the “Passwords and forms” section.
- Select Manage Autofill settings.
- In the dialog that appears, select the entry you'd like to delete from the list.
Add, edit, or delete your info
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- To the right of the address bar, tap More Settings. Autofill and payments.
- Tap Addresses and more or Payment methods.
- Add, edit, or delete info: Add: At the bottom, tap Add address or Add card.
Click on the tools icon found on the top right of the browser window, then under Safety, select Delete browsing history… For convenience, use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+DEL. Be sure to check Form data. Click the Delete button.

Chrome Passwords – Android Mobile Devices
- Click the three vertically stacked dots in the upper-right corner of your screen.
- Choose Settings from the menu.
- Choose Passwords.
- Tap “View and manage saved passwords in your Google Account”
- Chrome will prompt you for your Google account password.
Choose the

You can turn this option off or on at any time.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Profile Passwords .
- Turn Offer to save passwords on or off.
A. Allowing the Chrome browser to save your login and password information for website accounts is safer now than it used to be with the Smart Lock security feature that Google introduced last year for its Chrome software. Google is not the only browser creator to offer a built-in password manager.
