How to Hide Your Name on Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click the "Settings" gear icon and select "Settings."
- Click the "Accounts and Import" tab.
- Click "Edit Info" next to your email address in the "Send Mail As" section.
- Click the circle next to the blank field in the Name section and type your preferred display name.

At a minimum, a formal email should contain all of the following elements:
- Subject line. Be specific, but concise.
- Salutation. Address the recipient by name, if possible.

On the Home tab, in the New group at the leftmost corner, click the New E-mail to open a new message window. And in the new window, the Send button is obviously seen left above the body part of the letter, next to the To button and Cc button.

Send a File Attachment With Gmail
- Select Compose to a new email message or create a reply to a message you received.
- Select the Attach Files paperclip icon on the message window.
- Select the file or files you want to send and choose Open.
- Select the Attach Files paperclip again if you want to add more files from another location.

Forward Email as an Attachment
- Select the email you want to forward, then go to the Home tab.
- In the Respond group, select More Respond Actions.
- Select Forward as Attachment.
- In the To text box, enter the email address of the recipient.
- Select Send.
