Tap Alarm tone or Music, select the sound for the alarm, then tap OK. The ringtone plays briefly when you select it. Slide the button on the Alarm volume slider to the right to increase the alarm volume and to the left to decrease it. The alarm sound plays to help you determine the volume you want.
Set time, date & time zone
- Open your phone's Clock app .
- Tap More. Settings.
- Under "Clock," pick your home time zone or change the date and time. To see or hide a clock for your home time zone when you're in a different time zone, tap Automatic home clock.

Set an alarm
- On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say "Hey Google."
- Say or type the alarm you want. For example: "Set alarm for 6 AM tomorrow." "Wake me up at 7 AM tomorrow." "Set an alarm at 7 PM called 'Chores'."
Change alarm settings
- Open your phone's Clock app .
- Tap More. Settings.
- Under "Alarms": Choose how long your alarm rings: Tap Silence after. Choose how long "snoozing" delays an alarm: Tap Snooze length. Change your alarm's volume: Use the "Alarm volume" slider.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Lock screen > Clocks & shortcuts. Swipe (or flick) your finger left or right to select the clock you want to display on the lock screen. Tap the shortcut icon you want to change and choose the icon you want to display on the lock screen.

If you want to boost your alarm volume, you'll need to tap the little down arrow that appears at the top of the screen when you tap the volume buttons; when you do, you'll reveal the three specific volume sliders, including the alarm volume.
Update Date & Time on Your Device
- From your home screen, navigate to Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Date & Time.
- Make sure that the option Set Automatically is turned on.
- If this option is turned off, check that the correct Date, Time and Time Zone are selected.
Set an alarm
- Find "Clock" Press Tools.
- Create new alarm. Press Alarm.
- Select alarm time. Drag the indicator to the required hour and minute.
- Turn on repeat. Press the required days below "Repeat" to select them.
- Select alarm tone. Press Alarm sound.
- Turn vibration on or off.
- Enter alarm name.
- Save the alarm.
On your Home screen, swipe up or tap on the All apps button, which is available on most Android smartphones, to access the All Apps screen. Once you're on the All Apps screen, find the Settings app and tap on it. Its icon looks like a cogwheel. This opens the Android Settings menu.
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Under Ringer and Alerts, drag the slider left or right to set the volume. As you drag, an alert will play, so you can hear how the volume changes. Turn on Change with Buttons to use the volume buttons on your device to change the alarm volume.
To do this, first repeat the steps in the previous paragraph: on your LG G7 ThinQ, press the “Clock†application, or go to the “Apps†menu and then “Clockâ€. On the first page you will have all your alarms. Press the one that is your alarm clock. Scroll up until you find “Alarm Toneâ€.
To check for the alarm clock icon/indicator, swipe down from the top right of the screen to bring down your iPhone's control panel. If you have set an alarm, you'll see the clock icon just to the left of the battery indicator.
If the phone alarm is not working, simply go to the sound settings on your phone to cross-check, increase the volume, and assign a good, audible sound for the alarm. Open the Settings app on your phone, then click on. You'll see volume sliders for Media, Call, Alarm, and Ring.
Your Android phone keeps constant and accurate track of the time, which is displayed at the top of the Home screen and also when you unlock the phone. When you'd rather have the phone wake you up, you can take advantage of the Clock app, which might also be called Alarm or Alarm & Timer or a similar name.
