By land, the Netherstorm can only be entered by crossing the goblin-built Gyro-Plank Bridge which spans the gap between the eastern border of the Blade's Edge Mountains and the Netherstorm's westernmost island.
Navigate to the Classic product page and near the top of the page there's a link labeled “Opt in to the Burning Crusade Classic Beta†which sends you down the page to the Opt In button — you can also scroll down and search for it. Success! Your account has been added to the Beta Opt-In list.
The Dark Portal is located in the Blasted Lands in the southeastern portion of the zone. After arriving in either Dreadmaul Hold or Nethergarde Keep (depending on your faction), you'll need to walk all the way down to the southeast corner of the map until you reach a large, inland crater.
Getting to Outlands is easy and requires you to go to the Blasted Lands and then simply walk through the Dark Portal into Outlands. The level requirement on the portal itself is level 58 and you must have the expansion activated on your account before you can enter.
It's good to know that WoW Classic comes at no additional cost to the main WoW subscription. While there is no free trial of the WoW subscription, you can try out the standard game at no cost. No credit card details are required, and there is no time limit to how long you can play for free.
Since Shadowlands launched last year, WoW has gotten bug fixes and balancing updates, including the most recent fixes to the Sanctum of Domination on September 24. 5, which will add a number of player-requested changes to WoW. For these reasons, World of Warcraft is still very much worth playing in 2021.
The Dark Portal is open and players have started their journey into Outland with World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic officially going live at 5pm CT. The launch of WoW TBC Classic is worldwide.
Blizzard has announced that the Burning Crusade Classic Deluxe Edition will cost $69.99 USD! The Deluxe Edition includes many items that can be used in the TBC pre-patch such as a leveling boost and Hearthstone, but also contains a mount that can be used in the live Shadowlands game!
Burning Crusade Classic launches on June 1 at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT / 11pm BST.
These new races can't be boosted, BCC has no heirlooms or leveling buffs, and you only have a couple of weeks between the pre-patch where you can play these new races and the expansion release.
The Classic TBC pre patch will introduce all of the changes coming to the game in its first expansion, including brand new talent trees, and give players a chance to level Draenei and Blood Elf characters.
Character boosts are only available for Burning Crusade realms, and won't available for Classic Era realms. Draenei and Blood Elf characters are not eligible for boosting. Only one boost is available per account.
