- For T300 & T80 (only) press the “PS” button on the wheel and connect your wheel to your PROFILE.
To download both, head over to the Thrustmaster support page. Choose your wheel. Scroll down to the drivers section where you'll find a .exe file download for drivers and firmware combined. Download this and install it to your Windows PC.

Calibrate Thrustmaster steering wheel on PS4
- Plug your Thrustmaster wheel in to your PS4. If the wheel starts to spin, let it complete before doing anything else.
- Rotate the steering wheel to exactly center, and then hold the share button and option button together.
- Now you are ready to race.
Go to controls. Hit what ever button you need to hit to calibrate pedals. When you do brake pedal, push it as far as you can based off the mod. Screen should read 100.
To do this: - Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel. - Double-click on the Game Controllers (or Gaming Options) icon. If the name of your Thrustmaster product appears with OK status, your accessory is correctly installed and functional; thus, the problem stems from faulty settings in your game's options.
MODE button for the pedal setThe T150 is also compatible with Thrustmaster pedal sets featuring 3 pedals (sold separately); these allow you to electronically swap the accelerator and clutch pedals. To do so, simply press the MODE button (6) for 2 seconds.
Try this:
- whilst the pedal still connected to the base, unplug the usb (from wheelbase to pc)
- close the control panel and reboot pc.
- replug the usb to pc.
- during the calibration, do not press the pedal or anything, just let the calibration do its thing.
- once done, open control panel, and test if the pedal is alright.
Hold down the "Shift" and "Ctrl" (control) keys, and click on "Properties." Click on the "Test" tab, and then the "Settings" tab. From the new pop-up window, click the "Calibrate" button under the Settings tab, then click "Next." Click the left thumb button on your joystick.
The steering angle calibration is as simple as centering the steering wheel, turning on the ignition switch, then turning lock-to-lock starting left then right and returning to center.
Fanatec and Thrustmaster charge a lot more for leather wheels. The Logitech G29 gets you higher-end extras at no extra cost. Its pedal board is much better than anything else at the price too, with a board that has a clutch and very solid metal plates. There is one reason to prefer a Thrustmaster wheel, though.
In terms of steering wheels, Thrustmaster offers more entry level options and so is the one to go for if you are less experienced and perhaps don't have too much money to spend. Fanatec is the best choice if you want the most realistic experience and have a larger budget as they offer direct drive wheels.
Best PC racing wheel in 2021
- Thrustmaster T300 RS. The best racing wheel for PC.
- Fanatec CSL Elite. The best racing wheel for serious sim rigs.
- Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel: Leather Edition. A higher quality of Thrustmaster.
- Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel.
- Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Racing Wheel.
Both the G29 and G923 will be compatible on the PS5 pending final product approval from SIE.
Fanatec makes high end simulation wheels, which are closer to $800–1000 and higher. These don't look like bad prices - again, consider that for every 1000 wheels Logitech sells, Fanatec might sell 5. So the development costs and fixed production costs that go in to the wheel increase the price drastically.
The Logitech G920 is a slightly worse version of the G29. It's still a fantastic wheel, though, and it's the only Logitech option available for Xbox One users. However, if you play on PC, you'd be better off with a G29 in terms of overall performance.
As well as Sony confirming that this
wheel will work on both PS4 and PS5. Fanatec themselves have also confirmed that their CSL Elite wheel bases will work with next gen consoles. Allowing us to buy with confidence.

Need for Speed Heat now supports select Thrustmaster, Logitech, and Fanatec steering wheels. EA has pushed out a new update for Need for Speed Heat that not only squashes a bunch of bugs and new functions to the game, but it also adds support for steering wheels.
Forza Horizon 4 has a bad reputation when it comes to force feedback wheel support, and most people recommend just playing it with a controller. While there is no doubt that the game is primarily intended to be played with a controller, it actually works very well with the Thrustmaster TMX and T150.
