Google Calendar uses Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to help avoid issues with daylight savings time. When events are created, they're converted into UTC, but you'll always see them in your local time. If an area switches their time zone, events created before we knew about the change might be in the wrong time zone.
The reason that this problem occurs is that your calendar timezone setting may be incorrect. In a web browser open your Google Calendar. Click the Settings icon to the top right of the screen. Click Settings in the drop-down menu.
Android users have a similar setting for the Google Calendar app. Open Google Calendar, tap the Menu button in the upper-left corner and select Settings. On the next screen, tap General and turn off the button next to “Use device time zone” to stop appointments from shifting.
Change view settings
