And as with Amazon, there's no real limit to the size of the photos you can upload. But here's the catch: Shutterfly doesn't offer full-resolution downloading. Instead, you get a scaled-down 2-megapixel file, similar to those provided by Nikon's service.
As for print quality, both companies have good print quality (comparing their standard books), but Shutterfly's books appear more neatly constructed and more finished overall. Snapfish doesn't have a blank cover page before the printed pages start as Shutterfly does.
Blurry photos are usually the result of insufficient lighting or too much movement. Sufficient lighting allows the camera to capture a photo more quickly. Make sure to use a flash or have good lighting. It is best to always minimize any motion in a photo, as motion captured on camera will often appear and print blurry.
We may analyze your photo content and metadata to help you tag and organize your photos and to make personalized product suggestions to you based on those photos, such as showing you how your pictures may look in a collage or other Shutterfly product.
Navigate to Image > Image Size. Where it says “Resample Image” you can change the type of anti-aliasing used to enlarge and smooth the image. Change it to “Bicubic Smoother (best for enlargement).” By default, Photoshop uses “Bicubic.”
