Open the bookmarks menu by tapping the book icon. When you do this, you'll have four choices: Delete bookmarks—To delete a bookmark, tap the red circle to the left of the bookmark. When the Delete button appears at the far right, tap that to delete it.
Go to your Favorites (tap Phone, then tap the Favorites tab at the bottom of the screen), then tap the Edit button in the upper-left corner. Now, see the row of three-line “handles” to the right of all your favorites? Tap and hold one of them, then slide it up or down until it's in the order you want.
Press "CTRL," "Shift" and "B" to open the Bookmark Manager. Click on the folder containing the bookmark that you want to delete. Click on the website that you want to remove from your Bookmarks menu and press "Delete" on your keyboard. The site will be deleted from your list of favorite websites.
How to Remove Favourites from Safari in iOS 8 on iPhone and iPad
- Step #1. Launch Safari on your iDevice.
- Step #2. Tap on Bookmarks icon from bottom.
- Step #3. Again tap on Bookmarks icon if it is not selected.

If you've suddenly lost your bookmarks, or they are not syncing, the first thing you should do is close and re-open the Safari app. Sometimes a simple restart of the app can fix the missing bookmarks. Go to Settings > iCloud, and then switch the Safari setting to OFF on both your iPad and iPhone.
To manage your Safari bookmarks on your iPhone or iPad, first tap the Bookmarks icon along the bottom row. Now, in the bookmarks screen, tap the “Edit” button in the bottom-right corner. Now the edit mode will appear. Next to each bookmark or folder there is a “-” symbol, which means you can tap it and delete stuff.

- Open Safari and go to the URL you want to bookmark.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Add Bookmark or Add to Favorites in the Share menu.
- Accept the web page name or enter a new name for the bookmark in the field provided.

While adding contacts to Favorites is done from within the Contacts application, removing them is done from within the Favorites list itself.
- Open the "Phone" app and tap "Favorites."
- Tap "Edit" and then tap the red minus icon to the left of the contact you want to remove.
- Tap "Delete" to confirm.
In iPhone lingo, your favorites are the people you call most often. Then, you can simply tap the person's name in Favorites and your iPhone calls the person. You can set up as many favorites as you need for a person.
How to delete iPhone contacts
- Open the Contacts app or the Phone app and tap Contacts at the bottom.
- Select the contact you'd like to delete.
- Tap Edit in the top right corner.
- Swipe to the very bottom, tap Delete Contact, tap again to confirm.
Tap “Edit” in the top-right corner of the screen. If you have any iMessage apps under “Favorites”, tap on the red circle and then hit “Remove from Favorites”. Unfortunately, you can't remove “Store” from favorites, nor can you remove it from that bottom section anyway, so you'll have to live with it there.
Show or hide the bookmarks bar
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Once your Chrome browser has opened navigate to the top right, click More .
- Select Bookmarks Show Bookmarks Bar.

Edit a Favorite location or name:
Tap Favorites . Tap on the three dots on Android or on iOS next to the favorite you'd like to edit. Tap Rename favorite . To re-arrange your Favorites simply hold and drag a Favorite with your mouse to drop it in the preferred position.
To check all your bookmark folders:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- At the top right, tap More. Bookmarks. If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Star .
- If you're in a folder, at the top left, tap Back .
- Open each folder and look for your bookmark.
Delete a bookmark folder
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Point to the bookmark you want to edit.
- To the right of the bookmark, click the More. , to the far right of the bookmark.
- Click Delete. This will permanently delete all the bookmarks in that folder.
