For standard cleaning, we recommend using any non-abrasive cleaner, such as Bar Keeper's Friend, Soft Scrub/Soft Scrub with Bleach, or standard liquid dish soap. To eliminate any water spots or soap film buildups, rinse and wipe the sink dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Both stainless and composite sinks are durable and stain-resistant. While just about any sink available in a home-improvement store does its job well, all sinks are not created equally. The sink's composition affects its ability to resist stains and heat.

Composite Sink Cleaners & MethodsFor simple daily maintenance, it's much like cleaning a granite sink. Using pH-neutral dish soap and a sponge to wash down and rinse the sink will help keep it looking great — but always wipe it dry after to avoid minerals bonding with the sink after the water evaporates.
You've used an acidic cleaner (Bar Keepers Friend) and one that's alkaline (chlorine bleach), so try something with a different chemistry: hydrogen peroxide, an oxygen-based bleach. Powdered oxygen bleach, such as OxiClean, is grittier, so the liquid hydrogen peroxide is safer.
Bleach: While bleach is a great disinfectant, it can dull the finish of your granite and in some cases even change its color. There are other, safer, ways to disinfect your stone, so avoid bleach and any products that contain it when cleaning your granite.

Rinse the granite sink thoroughly with hot water. Dampen a nonabrasive scrubbing pad with water and apply 2 or 3 drops of mild dish detergent. Scrub the granite sink with the scrubbing pad, concentrating on the areas with the white haze. Rinse the sink thoroughly with warm water to remove all traces of detergent.
Mix equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on soap scum and/or food particles. Use a clean soft cloth to scrub the stain. Move in gentle circular strokes.

- Allow to penetrate for 5 minutes.

Scrub stains away with a sponge and rinse thoroughly. The stains will disappear and the shine will be restored. For dark stains on a porcelain sink, like coffee, tea, wine or juice, try using baking soda. Using baking soda and a damp washcloth, scrub until the stain is gone and rinse thoroughly with water.
Bar Keeper's Friend, Soft Scrub or simple dish soap are recommended for use on composite sinks. Steer clear of products like Ajax and Comet that are alkaline and will, over time, damage the surface of the sink.
