DJI claims a battery life of about 28 minutes, but we found that about 25 minutes was a more consistent average.
However, in April 2019, DJI announced that the Phantom 4 Pro V2. 0 would be discontinued until further notice. It turned out that there was a shortage of parts from a supplier, so DJI couldn't manufacture any more of these drones. As of 6 January 2020, this drone is again available for orders.

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2. 0 can deal with high winds and rain. The motors are strong enough to fly confidently in high wind conditions as you can see in these videos where a Phantom was used to capture racing sailboats. And even though the drone is not officially waterproof, it can definitely withstand some rain.
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro feels like it was designed from the ground up to be the perfect assistant for a drone photographer. Expect to pay extra for those "pro" features in the name, but fantastic automated camera functions, robust controls and a frankly ludicrous top speed make it very easy to see where your money goes.
The best drone right now is the new DJI Air 2S. It's everything a camera drone should be – compact, light, quiet and packing some outstanding onboard tech. However, it's a very close-run battle with the tiny DJI Mini 2, which offers incredible features for an eminently affordable price.

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2. 0, announced in May 2018, improves on the existing Phantom 4 Pro with an OcuSync transmission system, improved ESCs and low-noise propellers. It was relaunched in January 2020. It uses the same camera as the first iteration of the Phantom 4 Pro.

Rocket: DJI Mini 2 flies straight up into the air with the camera pointing downward following your subject. Set a height limit of 40, 60, 80, 100, or 120 ft.
DJI Go 4 uses the metric system for altitude measurements, even if you have it set to the imperial system, so enter 120m into box. Setting a max altitude of 120m will limit the maximum altitude of your drone to 393 feet, which is below the FAA regulations.
The Mavic Pro can similarly record video at up to 4K resolutions. However, it can only record at 30 frames per second. So, if you want to capture fast movement, like sports, the Phantom 4 will be the better option. Other than that, it's nearly all the same here, with a 60Mbps bitrate and ISO of 100 to 3200.
