University Housing cannot guarantee placement in a particular building or room type. University Housing hall assignments are not made on a first-come, first-serve basis due to multiple admissions decision releases at UW-Madison.

Students are not required to live on campus their first year. When/where do I get my Husky Card? Students get their Husky Card at orientation or by visiting the Welcome Desk at Husky Hall. Please be sure to bring your UW Bothell student number and a valid photo ID.
In my opinion, the new north campus dorms (such as madrona or willow). They have great communal space and access to kitchens. The north campus dining hall is much better than the west campus dining hall.
On-campus housing takes two forms at the University of Washington: residence halls and apartment-style dorm rooms. Both of these options provide students with communal (shared) kitchens, study rooms, furniture and a full list of other benefits and amenities.
The UW retains the right of access to all UW facilities including residential apartments, overnight rooms, storage areas, bathrooms and building common areas.
