21 minutes approx. TRON: Uprising is an animated science fiction TV series, part of the TRON series which aired on Disney's television channel Disney XD, in the United States. The show was not renewed at the end of the season, but no official cancellation announcement was made by Disney.
Paige is a character of TRON: Uprising, voiced by Emmanuelle Chriqui. General Tesler's second-in-command, Paige has endured her share of tragedy. Separated from her "family" during a battle, she was rescued by the General. This resulted in a deep loyalty to him, which often blinds her to his darker side.
Terminal is the 19th episode of TRON: Uprising, and the last of the show's first season. In this episode, Tron tells Beck that he is dying and finds out that the only way to stop his illness is to use the Occupation's new super recognizer.

TRON: Legacy's Story Is Simply Too BoringIts focus was clearly less on story and character than visual uniqueness, something that would help it stand out in an increasingly crowded market of Star Wars knock-offs while Disney tried to find its footing in a precarious decade.
TRON is also a debugging command in the BASIC programming language, meaning "TRace ON". However, Steven Lisberger has stated in interviews that he took the name from the word "electronic", and did not know about the BASIC command until later.
Why is Clu 2.0 evil? Betrayed by his maker (in his eyes) and tasked to create a perfect world, Clu 2.0 has some understandable issues. But the fact that he enjoys forcing the programs to play his games, or reprogramming them to join his army is what makes him evil.
Rinzler was named after Lucasfilm Executive Editor J.W.Rinzler, who authored books such as "The Making of Star Wars" and "The Complete Making of Indiana Jones." Joseph Kosinski officially acknowledged this link.
Overview. Beck is a young program who becomes the leader of a revolution inside the Grid. His mission is to free his home and friends from the reign of the villainous CLU and his henchman General Tesler. Beck is trained by Tron, the greatest warrior the Grid has ever come to know.
Non-canon. According to Dave (a friend of Steven Lisberger, the creator and director of TRON), TRON is the only story that is truly canon. TRON 2.0's storylines differ from Lisberger's original intentions of the characters and the story, therefore, TRON 2.0 should be considered as its own canon.
You don't really need to see TRON to enjoy the sequel. Yet even though you'll be fine going into Tron: Legacy blind, at least some of the film plays a lot better if you know some of the details behind what's going on.
TRON: Legacy is the sequel to the original 1982 film, TRON. Joseph Kosinski made his feature film directorial debut with this film, while the previous film director, Steven Lisberger, returned as a producer.

Clu 1 (like Clu 2) was created outside of the system by the coding and technology of Kevin Flynn and therefore not a free program in the Game Grid or under the MCP, and is differentiated in the movie by the color yellow.

The story follows Flynn's adult son Sam, who responds to a message from his long-lost father and is transported into a virtual reality called "the Grid," where Sam, his father, and the algorithm Quorra must stop the malevolent program Clu from invading the real world.
