You can use Pensioner Travel Vouchers for free travel on NSW TrainLink Regional services in Economy Class within regional NSW. You can use them for four one-way trips annually or two return trips annually.
The validity of a Myki card expires four years after purchase, although the expiry date is not shown on the card itself. When your Myki expires you can go to any staffed railway station or PTV Hub to get a free replacement card. The remaining balance on your old card will be transferred to the new one.
Free travel on Transport for London (TfL) services for all Londoners when they reach 60 years old. The 60+ London Oyster photocard scheme entitles Londoners to free travel on all TfL services and some national rail services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from their sixtieth birthday.
The Seniors Card is the original benefits card provided by the program. It offers discounts and deals at over 7,400 businesses, plus access to a Gold Opal Card and transport concessions that were created to help people who are fully or largely retired get around more affordably and stay active and connected.
Children aged 5 to 18 can travel on a concession fare with a Child myki. Teenagers aged 17 and 18 must carry government-issued proof of age ID (such as a passport, learner permit, or Proof of Age card), or another concession entitlement (such as a PTV School Student ID or Health Care Card).
Seniors are entitled to up to 50% off a full adult rail fare.

As mentioned, Victoria offers generous public transport concessions for its seniors. Not only do Victorian Seniors Card-holders get a free myki card (usually $6, or $3 for a concession myki card), they also receive the following: 50% discount on full fares. free travel on weekends in two consecutive zones.
Children aged 4 and under travel free and don't need a myki. Children aged 5 to 18 can travel on a concession fare with a Child myki. Children aged 16 and under don't need to carry proof of age.
To be eligible for the trial, you must: have reached the Age Pension age. live in a designated regional area of
NSW outside of Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong.
You must be receiving one of the following:
- Age Pension.
- Service Pension.
- Disability Pension under the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986.
- War Widow(er) Pension.

You need a myki if you're travelling on:If you're only travelling in the city's Free Tram Zone, you don't need a myki.
The new ticket option is available to most Android users, as long as their phone runs Android 5.0 or higher and has a built-in NFC wireless chip for contactless transactions. Sydney uses an “open loop” ticketing system, which means you can tap on with your contactless credit or debit card instead of an Opal card.
Passengers travelling without a valid Myki can pay an on-the-spot penalty of $75. If they fail to do so, they are issued with a $223 infringement notice.

If you do not tap on, you may be fined for travelling without a valid ticket. If you do not tap on but do tap off at the end, you will be charged the default fare. If you tap on at the beginning and then forget to tap off at the end of your trip, you will be charged the default fare for an incomplete trip.
Your myki Pass activates when you first touch on in one of your chosen zones and expires at 3am on the morning after the last day of the pass. You can activate your myki Pass for 12 months from the date of top up. Your pass will expire after 12 months if you don't activate it.
If you forget your card or are out of credit, it's a 1.5 kilometre walk to the nearest post office to top up. If you do not have any credit on your myki you are expected to take reasonable steps to top up, but from these locations you rack up at least 1200 paces to get to the nearest store or machine.
Two-hour fares on myki have been adjusted to last for exactly two hours. The two-hour fare is still valid for multiple trips as long as you touch on before the expiry time. The daily cap has not changed. Passengers can continue to enjoy unlimited daily travel for a capped price based on the zones they have used.

Indian Railways grant concession in the fares of all classes of Mail/Express/Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi/Duronto group of trains to Male Senior Citizens of minimum 60 years and Female Senior Citizen of minimum 58 years. The element of concession is 40% for men and 50% for women.
