Star Wars Battlefront II fans attempting to access the game this morning will sense somewhat of a disturbance in the Force. Developer EA DICE have temporarily shut down the game's servers as they carry out scheduled maintenance on the popular multiplayer shooter.

Naboo was added to Capital Supremacy in June 2019, but it is currently unknown if Tatooine will be arriving sometime later. In addition to the Galactic Civil War era maps, the ground phase of Supremacy in Battlefront II can be played exclusively in a separate offline single-player mode called Instant Action.
Ground forces must compete for control of command posts, determined to board the enemy's capital ship and destroy it from within. In DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II, Supremacy is a non-linear game mode based on capturing Command Posts and ultimately bringing down capital ships.
Arriving on March 26, Capital Supremacy is a Clone Wars-era game mode that includes AI characters for the first time in Battlefront II competitive matches. The mode starts with a territory control phase on the ground, and is followed by an invasion phase.
Subsequently, EA DICE acquired a license to develop a new game, titled Star Wars Battlefront which was released on November 17, 2015. A sequel, Star Wars Battlefront II, was released on November 17, 2017, and was developed by EA DICE, Criterion Games, and Motive Studios.
That's very much what it feels like to pilot ships in Battlefront 2. It's almost as if you're not really flying the ship at all. Instead, you're flying the aiming reticle.
Star Wars Battlefront 2, and its all-new space battles, demand absolutely nothing of you. This is your space. You destroy some ships, then fly inside the bigger ship, then blow up some bits on the outside of the other ship, just in time for the bombers to arrive.
All classes in Battlefront II have a set of Boost Cards. Boost Cards can be unlocked by increasing a class's Class Level, earned by time-played as that class.
Star Wars Battlefront 2, and its all-new space battles, demand absolutely nothing of you. The upshot is that much of Battlefront 2's space combat feels tremendous. The Millennium Falcon, for example, is heavy, meaty, and brash, its thundering exhausts and thronging lasers the cavalier extension of its pilot.
In DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II, Supremacy is a non-linear game mode based on capturing Command Posts and ultimately bringing down capital ships. It supports up to 40 players with an addition 24 AI bots. Supremacy features heroes, reinforcements, and ground vehicles that can be spawned in.
Some of them have bots flying fighters in the sky, such as Kashyyyk having v-wings flying around. But no there are no ground troops controlled by bots.
In Capital Supremacy, the battle starts on land, called the Ground Phase, and after you capture control points, you board a transport and assault the enemy ship, which is called the Invasion Phase. Two teams of 20 fight on each side, with 12 AI bots to help.
As it stands right now, and likely well into the future, the only way to play split-screen multiplayer in Star Wars Battlefront 2 is through Arcade mode. While more and more games move away from including a split-screen option, it would have been nice to see an option for it available in the single-player campaign.
EA DICE has been keeping an eye on Star Wars Battlefront II's Capital Supremacy mode and has found that some matches are lasting a bit too long. Long, in this case, being over two hours on the rare occasion.
Galactic Assault is an asymmetrical, 40 player linear game mode in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II that features heroes, Reinforcements, and vehicles that can be spawned in to turn the tide of battle.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update 1.45 Patch Notes. Two new Heroes, BB-8 for the Resistance and BB-9E for the First Order, are now available. Supremacy and Instant Action are now available on new Planets (Takodana, Jakku, Ajan Kloss).
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Update 1.38 Patch Notes. Felucia has been added as a playable map on Capital Supremacy. CO-OP, a four-player online experience against an enemy team of AI opponents is now available. Instant Action is playable on Geonosis, Kashyyyk, Kamino, Naboo and Felucia.
