- Go to www.blackberry.com on your computer.
- Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
- Press Storage and Access.
- Press USB Connections.
- Press Connect to Windows or Connect to Mac depending on the operating system on your computer.
Syncing Cable
- Plug your BlackBerry into a USB port on your PC using the included syncing cable.
- Allow a minute or two for Windows to install your BlackBerry device.
- Your BlackBerry will prompt you asking “Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode?” Select “Yes.”

The USB port may not be providing a suitable connection to the operating system. Try another USB port on the computer. If using a desktop be sure to use a port on the back of the computer. If using a laptop use a port on the back of the laptop, or try a USB port on the opposite side of the laptop.
From the BlackBerry PlayBook home screen, tap the gear icon. Tap the Storage & Sharing panel. Press and hold on the screen; then move it up so that WiFi Sharing appears. Make sure the WiFi Sharing toggle is On.

In a tweet this morning, TCL announced that it “will no longer be selling” BlackBerry-branded phones as of August 31st, 2020, because it will no longer have the rights to design and manufacture them. BlackBerry decided in 2016 to stop making its own phones, after years of failures, and to license its brand out instead.
