Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the terminals. There are two smoking facilities inside the terminal. One in the bar and the other near the seating area in Departures.
Sleeping in Bristol AirportThe terminal is small, and most seating consists of armrest-free benches that are described as uncomfortable; however, there is a comfortable couch landside near the Costa cafe. For uninterrupted sleep, there is a hotel at the airport and some other hotels within walking distance.
There is no train station at the airport, but it is still easy to travel to Bristol Airport via train. CrossCountry will take you to Bristol Temple Meads Station where you can jump on the Airport Flyer Express and arrive at the airport 30 minutes later.

Bristol airport is open 24 hours a day and it is pretty quiet at night, although a little cold.
easyJet resumes flying from Bristol with new bio security measures in place. easyJet has today relaunched flights from 22 airports across Europe for the first time since operations ceased at the end of March as a result of the pandemic. The first flight from Bristol will take off at 15.45 this afternoon for Belfast.
These containers need fit comfortably inside a 20cm x 20cm re-sealable, transparent plastic bag and given to security staff separately from your hand luggage. If you don't have a bag for your liquids, there are machines at various places in the terminal, including check-in and security. Four bags are £1.00.

“This is fantastic news as easyJet continues to invest in Bristol Airport and basing seventeen aircraft at its second largest base. The additional aircraft will provide extra flights to Paris, and an additional three new destinations of Milan, Brindisi and Biarritz to the route network from Bristol Airport.
EasyJet has said it will continue flying customers to Spain despite the Foreign Office advising against all non-essential travel to the country. The low-cost airline has cancelled all Spain package holidays to mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, and the Balearic Islands until July 31.
In its first summer of operations from Bristol Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 56 weekly flights. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will wave off its first flights from Bristol Airport on 1st April, with its inaugural flight departing to Lanzarote.
There are 14 Emirates Dubai to Bristol flights scheduled at different time of the day.
British Airways is to start flying from Bristol Airport again with the launch of four new summer-only routes to popular European sunspots. From May the airline will begin direct flights from Bristol to the popular Spanish destinations of Malaga, Ibiza and Palma and to the Italian city of Florence.
