While OLED is able to make screens much darker for better contrast, QLED display screens are a lot brighter. This makes it ideal for brighter rooms and content that are HDR. They also come in various sizes, big to small, and is also a lot affordable in comparison to OLEDs.
The sound quality of the LG C9 OLED TV could be better. In our experience the overall volume output was quite low compared with that of other TVs we tested this year. (The higher-end LG E9 and W9 TVs offer better sound.) Sony TVs still offer slightly better video processing, especially when it comes to motion.

The best OLED TV for sound quality that we've tested so far is the LG E9 OLED. The LG C9 does not differ from the LG E9 in terms of image technology at all. Both TVs use the same processor, the 2nd generation Alpha 9. The C9 has a traditional stand and does not feature a soundbar. The integrated 2.2 system only delivers 40W.
The LG B8 also offers good brightness and broad high-dynamic-range (HDR) support, with HDR10, hybrid log gamma (HLG) and Dolby Vision formats all getting full support.
Virtually all manufacturers source the basic OLED panels from LG Display, but this doesn't mean all OLED TVs look alike. Manufacturers design their own models and build their own internals, including picture processing engines and speakers, which deliver variances in picture quality from set to set.

The support page detailed that AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support will be coming to 2018 OLED models (B8, C8, E8, G8, W8) and 2018 LCD models (SK and UK ranges), and that the firmware update is "expected by October 2020". LG said that timing may change.
OLED price plunge
In 2020, there will be five OLED TV brands from which to choose. That's a significant leap forward. Vizio, Philips, and Chinese brand Konka will all bring OLED TVs to the U.S. this year, and that can only mean one thing: OLED TV prices will be dropping.The LG OLED C9 is an excellent TV for watching TV shows during the day. It has good peak brightness and an impressive anti-reflective coating, so you shouldn't have any issues, even in a bright room. It also has wide viewing angles, which is great if you like to walk around with the TV on.
The LG C9 is one of the best TVs of 2019. Thanks to the OLED panel, it offers perfect black, infinite contrast and a very wide viewing angle. Compared to the B9, it is a little more demanding, which is not least reflected in the price.
