Instead of the sizing being 8,10,12, in Europe, the sizing is 38,40,42. It is also worth remembering that in general, European sizing runs slightly smaller than US sizing. So even though a size 8 in US is a European size 38, it might still run slightly smaller than you're expecting.

I usually wear 39 in most of the designer shoes except for CHANEL shoes that run extremely small and I wear 40 – 41 ( you can also read my detailed guide for buying your first CHANEL pair here ) . So GUCCI shoe sizing is not that much of a big mess . So ,yes GUCCI shoes run true to italian size .
The rule of thumb to live by when buying a pair of shoes is that there should be a thumb's width between the tip of the longest toe in your foot and the end of the shoe. The first, second or third toes are often the landmarks because they are usually the longest toes in your foot.
When measured at the ball-of-the-foot, the difference between shoe widths is approximately 1/4”. A wide width is 1/4” wider than a medium width and an extra wide width is 1/2” wider than a medium width.
1) FIND YOUR SHOE SIZE: Using a tape measure or ruler, measure the distance from the back of your heel to the end of your longest toe (in mm). Use the table below to work out your UK shoe size. Remember to measure the length of both of your feet!
No, the half size is in how long the shoes are. It will usually result in blisters from the shoes rubbing when you walk. There are some shoes that will come in wide or narrow widths, and some shoe brands, like converse that naturally run wider.
