The brewer reduced the alcohol strength of White Lightning from 7.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) to 5.5% in May, but has now scrapped the brand after accepting that its attempt to improve the image of the white cider category has failed.
Method: Fill a highball glass with ice, add Drambuie , Jack Daniels, 4 lime wedges and stir. Top up with lemonade and garnish with a lime wedge. 2 units of alcohol.
Lambrini is available in Original (6.8% ABV) which is a recent change of around 2018, Luci (3.5% ABV), Cherry, Peach and Strawberry (all 5% ABV).
