The operations at the LCCT ceased after eight years with the departure of AirAsia X Flight D7 170 to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at 2.35 am. The klia2, built at a cost of RM4 billion, can handle up to 45 million passengers annually, and AirAsia is expected to contribute about 80% of the traffic.

Terminal M is KLIA or KLIA1 as it is sometimes referred to, to distinguish it from KLIA2. PIA KLIA1 and Malindo KLIA1. If you don't need to clear immigration and customs to collect bags and recheck in from landside it will definitely be enough. Terminal M is at KLIA, the same airport that Malindo use.

A valid visa is required for foreign nationals that require a visa to enter Malaysia. Foreign Nationals who exit Malaysia during the Movement Control Order (MCO) on the 18th of March 2020 are not allowed to return during the MCO without the approval from the Director General of Immigration.
Only passengers with a valid flight ticket or boarding pass will be allowed to enter the terminal, while all meeters and greeters will not be allowed into the terminal, said Malaysia Airports. "For klia2 terminal, meeters and greeters are only allowed access up to gateway@klia2 shopping mall," it said.
