Aniplex has not provided a reason as to why the game is shutting down. It's highly likely, though, that the game simply was not generating enough money to make it worthwhile for the company. While Magia Record had a loyal playerbase, it never rose to the heights of popular gacha games like Fate/Grand Order.

The episode ends with a giant meeting of the Wings of the Magius where most of the friends our characters had made throughout the series now integrated into the group by choice or, seemingly, by force.
Madoka Magica has one main TV series adaptation and one movie.
The hype that the original airing made around the world drew in people that would not normally even watch a magical girl anime, and suddenly Madoka Magica was a worldwide success. And it did it by providing a very new twist to an old story and doing it in a way that suits today's audience.
PMMM is no darker than other dark anime like elfen lied. But, PMMM is dark enough to be mentioned as a dark anime.
Like many “famous” anime shows, people believe Madoka Magica is “overrated” because so many people reference or recommend it. But do know that it's “rated” one of the best magical girl anime's ever created.
Parents need to know that Puella Magi Madoka Magica appears to be a cute animated show for little girls (similar to Sailor Moon), but it's full of dark moments and imagery that is more suited for teens and adults.
Many of Kyubey's appearances after the original reveal in Episode Three hold a rather dark and sinister tone, since it's clear that there's something wicked going on behind the scenes, but we aren't sure exactly what until one iconic scene.
Madoka Magica's atmospheric dread and tragic characters make for an equally intimate and existential horror. By subverting the norms of the magical girl anime, the show provides devastating twists that only further immerse the viewer into the story.
The rating says it's 13+ because of the things it discusses: violence, horror, and a lot of psychological ramifications of being a magical girl.
You can go into Rebellion if and only if you have seen the whole initial Madoka story in full, (either the movies or the series). You can watch the series and go into Rebellion, or you could watch all 3 movies in a row. When that is done, you should watch the first 2 movies because Madoka has great rewatch value.
This is the only way (I'm aware of) to stream Rebellion legally, and the only way to watch it dubbed, so if you've been holding back on watching it for some reason, it's now or never.
It's a really good movie and 100% worth the watch. The ending has people split on it so you'll have to watch it and decide for yourself. It's not essential but since you like the series I'd recommend that you watch it.
It's not canon to the TV anime or Rebellion. Not yet, at least. Who knows if they will add some kind of plot twist that allows it to connect to the show and justify some of the weirder occurrences.
A smartphone game, Magia Record, launched in August 2017, and an anime adaptation produced by Shaft aired from January to March 2020; a second anime season is in production. In April of 2021, it was announced that a sequel to Rebellion was in production.
