In a different generation, Mawile would've likely been a relatively solid choice for a steel type. However, in Gen III, there are just too many superior steel types for Mawile to be the one on your roster. The alternative steel types are a bit more user-friendly.

Mega Mawile has an attack stat of 105, but has the ability huge power, which at first I thought would bring his base attack stat up to a terrifying 210.
Mega Medicham can KO with Fire Punch. Rotom-W can outspeed it and is not affected by Sucker Punch when using status moves like Will-O-Wisp. Excadrill can survive unboosted priority and KO with STAB Earthquake.

This is one of Klefki's most universally useful sets. Thanks to its great typing and decent enough bulk with maximum investment, Klefki makes for a decent glue on many teams.
