Dementors are dark creatures that consume human happiness, creating an ambiance of coldness, darkness, misery and despair. Because of their power to drain happiness and hope from humans, they have been set the duty of being guards at Azkaban, where they prevent the prisoners from having the will or ability to escape.
Like the Sluagh, the Dementors are ghostly, shadowy, evil creatures that try to steal the souls of their victims.
In a whimsical sense, the reason the Dementors only attacked Harry was because Harry was the only person in the train that the Dementors felt the most despair and tragedy due to the death of his parents and his abusive childhood with his aunt, uncle, and cousin.
He was executed by an improper decapitation, after he had a magical mishap with Lady Grieve, in which he tried to straighten her teeth but it backfired and she grew tusks. Since then, he became the resident ghost of Gryffindor Tower at the Hogwarts Castle.
Acromantula. In the wizarding world, acromantulas are enormous spiders—bearing a real-life resemblance to tarantulas, a group of spiders comprising more than 850 species. The similarities between fact and fiction are striking. But neither of these carnivorous spiders is the biggest living tarantula.
Dogs in the wizarding worldRubeus Hagrid, Hogwarts gamekeeper also had a boarhound named Fang. There are also magical subtypes of dogs, such as three-headed dogs,Gytrash and Grim.
Niffler. Although Hagrid would advise against it ('they wreck houses, Nifflers'), a lovely Niffler sounds like a great pet choice. Known for their keen interest in anything glittery, Nifflers are known to be 'gentle and affectionate', according to Newt Scamander.
His Patronus is a dragon, since his name means dragon in Latin and he shows no particular fondness for any other creature. He could also have a white peacock Patronus, since Malfoy Manor has white peacocks at the entrance.

This rat is brought with Ron to Hogwarts for multiple years, and presumably Percy brought Scabbers to Hogwarts when he owned the rat. Nowhere is it mentioned that, should they be unable to afford an owl, a cat or a toad, then they may bring a rat.
Mrs Norris was the pet cat of Argus Filch, the caretaker of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mrs Norris was described as having an unusually strong connection with her master, alerting him to any students misbehaving inside the school castle.
Hufflepuff: I think Hufflepuffs would be most likely to bring cats, followed by owls. Cats have the benefit of being personal pets, so it's something with love from home, and can also provide cuddles and love. Owls would be the second most common, because to quote Hagrid, “They're dead useful.”

Rowan is the first character you will meet in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. You will first see him/her in front of the Ollivanders Wand Shop in Diagon Alley.
History often dictates that cats were portrayed as 'familiars'– creatures who assist in their owners' magic. So it figures that some of the most important characters from the Harry Potter stories were fluffy, meowing, and most likely to be found curled up asleep during the day.
Pets give your character extra energy when you pat them. There are thirteen pets you can purchase for your character within the shop (where you equip and purchase clothing). Pets can be purchased with Gems or Brown Notebooks. You can collect energy from your pets by visiting the Dormitory.

A major reason not to allow dogs is the amount of space they requires, plus the amount of maintenance. Surely it is outside a house elf's job description to walk dogs while the kids are in classes. Owls, cats, and toads can be confined when needed, allowed to prowl within limits, and are basically self-contained.
Pygmy Puffs are mythical creatures from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They are miniature versions of Puffskeins and were created by Fred and George Weasley. They are either pink or purple and are fluffy and adorable! Ginny Weasley

In Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, almost all students have their own pets like owls, cats, toads, etc.
Per the official announcement, students will be allowed to have no more than 2 pets at the same time during their magical education. Students will have to send in a form registering their animals, and each animal will be required to have a tag, either on the animal itself or on the animal's cage/tank.
