2.If you are missing Random Channels
- 1) Turn on your TV.
- 2) Press [Menu] on your TV remote to bring up the Main menu.

How do I manually retune my TV?
- Press menu on your box or TV remote control.
- Select set-up, installation, update or a similar option.
- Select first-time installation (sometimes called factory reset, full retune or default settings).
- Press OK if your equipment asks if it's OK to delete existing channels and then your retune should start automatically.
If only your TV is affected, the problem is likely to be in your TV, digital box or aerial. If other TVs are affected, it's more likely to be caused by work at your local transmitter(weak signal), or possibly the weather. There may be a glitch in the software, so try restarting your digital box or TV. Check your TV.
Some equipment will retune automatically – but if you find you are missing channels on or after this date, you'll need to retune your Freeview TV or set-top box* to get them back. If you don't know where you get your TV signal from, you can check your nearest transmitter by using the Freeview Checker.
During this period, you may lose channels due to the signal being temporarily weaker while the real antenna tower is upgraded, or due to the signal coming from a different direction.

Setting up a Freeview-ready TV
Plug in the TV and fit the batteries to the remote. Plug in the aerial and turn on the TV. If you have a smart TV you'll be asked for your wi-fi network and password, so have these ready. You'll then be asked to tune your TV to find the available Freeview channels.On 19 October 2017, True Movies is now in all platforms on Freeview channel 62, moving from Local TV to COM6 however the channel was known as True Christmas by this time, but on 4 April, True Movies began to broadcast 24 hours a day and full time on Freeview.
