As mentioned in the novelization, the Mandalorians were now imagined as "a group of evil warriors defeated by the Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars." Fett's popularity inspired a wealth of Expanded Universe literature about him, which assumed he and his father were Mandalorian like their armor.
Thanks to his iron will and Mandalorian armor, he was able to fight his way out of the beast's belly. Back in action, he resumed his work as a bounty hunter. After a promise made to a dying Fenn Shysa, Fett became Mandalore and eventually led the Mandalorians through the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Once a glorious world, the surface of Mandalore was laid waste by war, leading Duchess Satine Kryze to renounce the planet's violent history and declare neutrality in the Clone Wars. With Bo-Katan and several clans, she destroyed the Empire's Mandalorian armor-targeting weapon.
A gifted warrior, Bo-Katan Kryze is a legendary Mandalorian. She refused to align with the Empire's occupation of Mandalore, and now wields the Darksaber as the leader of the Mandalorian resistance.
Clone WarsSome Mandalorians, most notably members of Death Watch, held a grudge against the Jedi for their perceived crimes against Mandalore during the Mandalorian-Jedi War. That the Jedi led an army of clone soldiers—"slaves bred for war", as Confederate propaganda proclaimed—did not speak well to their character.

His survival came from eating large insects and destroying a large machine that a nearby Anacondan was cowering away from. Both sought revenge against Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and thus agreed to work together.

Near the end of the war, she was overthrown and killed by Maul and his Shadow Collective which established former Prime Minister Almec as the face of Maul's rule.
In the year 20 BBY, the Mandalorian Death Watch allied with the Sith Lords Darth Maul and Savage Opress, launching a coup against the New Mandalorian government in an attempted takeover of Mandalore.

Star Wars, thus far, has only made mention of one Mandalorian Jedi. More than a thousand years before A New Hope, the Jedi Tarre Vizsla was an active and successful member of the Jedi Order.
