Ruby Rose Langenheim (born March 20, 1986), better known as Ruby Rose, is an Australian actress. She portrayed Kate Kane/Batwoman in The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
The final season also has two things delaying it: The coronavirus pandemic, which has moved the show from its usual fall slot into 2021, and Benoist's pregnancy, announced in March 2020.
Like many television productions around the world, season 1 of Batwoman had to be cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. Consequently, episode 20, titled “O, Mouse!†served as the finale. Fans agreed that the final cliffhanger served as a fitting ending for Batwoman's first season.
Supergirl season 1 set up Kara's romantic interest in James Olsen. The two were coworkers at CatCo and James had the benefit of already knowing her secret identity as Supergirl and it seemed like the pair were headed in the direction of potentially being an endgame relationship.
The future of Batwoman is secured for now. In February, the CW ordered a third season of the DC Comics show. Leslie will return as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman in Season 3—but there will be one big change for the show.
Fortunately, the show has not been cancelled. Batwoman was renewed with the majority of The CW line-up in February a few weeks after its second season premiered on January 17. The news ushered in relief for fans unsure of the show's future with a new bat at the helm.
In the crossover, Barry Allen recruits Kara Danvers / Supergirl from Earth-38 to Earth-1 to help his team, Oliver Queen and his team, and the Legends to defeat the alien race known as the Dominators.

The crossover began in Supergirl episode 2x8 "Medusa," though that was more of a teaser at the end of the episode (featuring the scene of Barry and Cisco recruiting Supergirl), and continues after the Flash episode in Arrow episode 5x8, also called "Invasion!," and ends with the Legends episode 2x7 "Invasion!"
The two superheroes first met in the second part of last year's "Elseworlds" crossover, "Elseworlds: Hour Two," when Kara Danvers accompanied Oliver Queen and Barry Allen to Gotham City to find John Deegan.
Supergirl and Batwoman met during the Elseworlds crossover, as the latter helped the former and her superhero friends track down the reason for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) waking up in Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) life and vice versa.
Elseworlds will have three episodes, which will play on three consecutive nights in the usual slots occupied by The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl.
There are so many great shows available to stream on Netflix, but unfortunately, Batwoman is not one of them. As reported by Newsweek, The CW has a streaming deal with Netflix that encompasses every scripted show presently airing on the network that premiered before the 2019-2020 TV seasons.
The Arrowverse Invasion watch order is as follows: Supergirl 2×08, then The Flash 3×08, next Arrow 5×08 and finally, Legends of Tomorrow 2×07.
It turns out this whole scheme is the work of Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan, who kicks the story off by "rewriting reality." The plot thickens as the mysterious Arkham Asylum doctor is revealed to be the cause of Barry and Oliver's switcharoo.
'Supergirl' Season 1, Episode 18 "World's Finest"The first crossover episode featuring both Kara and Barry, "World's Finest" brings the Flash to Earth-38's National City.
She made an unofficial cameo appearance in Season Two of The Flash during The Episode Welcome to Earth 2 when The Flash, Vibe and Harrison Wells were traveling through The Multiverse she is seen in as an image from her Earth. The appearance was archive footage taken from an Episode of Season One of Supergirl.

The third season of the American superhero television series Batwoman was announced in February 2021 and premiered on The CW on October 13, 2021. It will star Javicia Leslie, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson, Robin Givens, Victoria Cartagena and Nick Creegan.
She stepped down from her role as Kate Kane after just one season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly last year, the "Orange Is the New Black" alum cited a back injury she suffered while filming "Batwoman" as the reason for leaving the show.
Batwoman season 2 will see actress Wallis Day play Kate Kane, a role that was played by Ruby Rose in the Arrowverse show's first season.
Batwoman is far from done with Kate Kane. EW has learned that Wallis Day (Krypton, The Royals) has been cast as an altered version of Kate Kane, the character Ruby Rose originated in season 1, and will appear in the back half of season 2.
