Yes. Arthur was the physically strongest man in the Van der Linde gang alongside Charles. If Arthur wanted to, and had he not been sick, he would have rammed Micah into the ground with a few punches.
Micah killed Arthur because in the eyes of Dutch and the rest of the gang members who sided with him, he was seen as a traitor. Even though Arthur and the people who sided with him (Sadie, Charles, John, Susan) were morally right as the gang was deteriorating, Micah painted them as traitors and Dutch believed as such.
In a Mexican standoff, Dutch shoots Micah, letting John finish him off, before leaving. During the events of Red Dead Redemption in 1911, John tracks down Dutch, who commits suicide by backing off a cliff.
He was a toxic influence on Dutch. Dutch was first and foremost a very arrogant and prideful man that did not want to accept that he was wrong in any way. He valued loyalty above everything else. Arthur told him that Micah was the rat, and Dutch refused to believe it because of his arrogance and pride.
Though, the time for release of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been officially confirmed there is no news regarding the release of the fourth version the game. We predict that RDR 3 will be presented to us in the period between 2022-2024 years but anyhow it all depend on what RDR 2 brings for us.
Dutch just went insane after every plan didn't go his way, when the doubt started happening, when his crew was leaving or getting killed.
To Dutch, Arthur was the traitor. Arthur betrayed him by not trusting him, by not having faith in him.
During that heist in the bayou city, Dutch sustains a head injury. It's brushed over, but many believe this brain injury flipped some switches in his head which led to the downfall of the Van Der Linde gang at the hands of Micah Bell.
In the end, despite his originally good intention, Dutch became a bad person. I think he is a good person at heart. He means well, and set out to do only what was necessary to protect his family. He got lost along the way, as many do, swayed by greed, pride and the whisperings of Micah.
Besides, John only went after Dutch in RDR1 because the government agents kidnapped his wife and kid and forced him to go after Dutch. ALSO, John didn't kill Dutch. Dutch killed himself by taking a swan dive off a cliff instead of being arrested.
Does Sadie Adler Die? Sadie joins the gang in Red Dead Redemption 2's opening chapter, transitioning to a proper gun-wielding outlaw in Chapter 3. Sadie ends up helping Arthur in some of the endgame missions, after Arthur has split from Dutch. She's wounded in the epilogue, but actually survives Red Dead Redemption 2.
(His fellow gang members leave him for dead when he gets shot during a failed robbery in 1906, which is what leads him to ditch the outlaw life in the first place.) He lives peacefully as a reformed man over the next five years, a period during which his unnamed daughter dies.
In the end, Dutch left because he had nothing else to use against Scarface. He didn't argue, he didn't put up a fight, nor did he tried to shoot him. He left the money because it was no longer any use for him. Dutch had also walked away because he had nothing else to fight for..
There is no "secret" ending in which he survives. He either gets his redemption by saving John and dying peacefully while looking into the sunrise, or he gets his redemption by saving John and dying violently at the hands of Micah Bell.
Javier Escuella witnessed her death, and later said that Dutch killed her in a "bad way", but added that it was a "bad situation". He mentions that Micah Bell encouraged Dutch to kill her, and that Dutch later justified it by saying that it was what they had to do to survive.
For much of Red Dead Redemption 2, Arthur Morgan acts as a father figure to John and Abigail Marston's son Jack. The story of his son explains a lot about Red Dead Redemption 2's main character, including why Arthur only dived deeper into the lifestyle of an outlaw closer to the end of his life.
Rockstar GamesSadly, there is currently no release date for Red Dead Redemption 3. At this point, we can only speculate, especially since Rockstar Games are rumored to be working on a new Grand Theft Auto game at the moment. Therefore, it's assumed the Red Dead Redemption 3 is currently not in the making.
