Authorize a Single Use license
- Start ArcGIS Pro.
- At the bottom of the ArcGIS Sign In page, click Configure your licensing options.
- On the Licensing dialog box, click the License Type drop-down menu and click Single Use License.
- Under License Level, click the license level you will use: Advanced, Standard, or Basic.
How To: Install and activate ArcGIS Desktop evaluation software
- Activate the authorization code.
- Log in using an Esri Global Account; sign-up for a new Esri Global Account if necessary.
- Enter the authorization code and click Activate ArcGIS.
- Select the desired ArcGIS Desktop software version.
- Scroll down and search for ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap).
After installation, the ArcGIS Administrator Wizard is launched. Use the ArcGIS Administrator Wizard to specify your software seat type, specify a license manager (if applicable), or authorize your Single Use software (if applicable). ArcGIS applications can be accessed from the Start > Programs > ArcGIS program group.
Viewing license availability
- Launch the ArcGIS License Server Administrator from Start > Programs > ArcGIS > License Manager > License Server Administrator.
- Choose Availability in the table of contents.
- Double-click a feature to get information on the authorization number, expiration date, number of licenses, and number of licenses borrowed.
A license file (previously called a provisioning file) is a plain text file that automatically supplies required information—such as product name, authorization number, and user contact information—to the Software Authorization Wizard. Single Use license files have the extension . prvc (denoting a client license file).

go to customers.esri.com and log in as the administrator for your company. go to authorization and provisioning. on the reporting tab you will see each auth and de-auth transaction. you can compare the authorization date with the date authorized in the arcgis administrator mentioned by Aaron.
