The legal paper dimensions are A4 or 216x279mm. In the United States of America and Canada, the dimensions are the same, but the paper is called differently. The legal paper dimensions in America are 216x356mm or 8.5 x 11 inches. Those dimensions are called legal.
While the 2019 Audi A3 is built around a 103.8-inch wheelbase, the 2019 Audi A4 features a wheelbase of 111 inches. In terms of power, both sedans are built with 2.0L TFSI® engines and offer quattro® all-wheel drive, but the 2019 A4 does deliver on a bit more horsepower and torque.

A3 paper is 297 by 420 millimeters, approximately 11.7 by 16.5 inches. A4 paper is 210 by 296 millimeters, approximately 8.3 by 11.7 inches. A5 paper is 148 by 210 millimeters, approximately 5.8 by 8.3 inches.

The related paper size known as half letter, statement, or organizer L is exactly one half of the US Letter size: 8.5 by 5.5 inches (215.9 by 139.7 mm) (8.5 × 5.5 in).
The most common paper size used in English speaking countries around the world is A4, which is 210mm x 297mm (8.27 inches x 11.7 inches). The largest sheet from the A series is the A0 size of paper. It has an area of 1m2, and the dimensions are 841mm x 1189mm.
For example the most commonly used paper size is A4 (297mm x 210mm) and the next paper size is A5 (210mm x 148.5mm) which is equal to half of the A4 dimensions. Therefore a request to quote for a postcard would be based on A6 size (148.5mm x 105mm).
What you will notice is the A-series sizes are based upon the A4 sheet, and each increase in size is double the size below it: A3 is twice the size of A4.
A4 paper size vs Letter. The difference is minimal, but important: A4 is a little taller, while Letter is a little wider. There is a good reason why most countries have accepted the ISO 216 series of paper sizes (the official grouping which includes A4) as a standard.

So why is A4 paper called A4? A4 is half an A3, or one quarter of A2, but more importantly, it's one sixteenth of A0. A0 has an area of one square metre (but it isn't a square), and every other paper size in the A series is based on A0.

The most notable difference between an A3 printer and an A4 printer is size. A3 is 11.69 X 16.53 while an A4 is 8.27 X 11.69. An A3 can handle A4 paper sizes, but not the other way around. If you want to create more intense documents, an A3 can handle ledger paper to make booklets and other projects.

- At 300 ppi (pixels per inch) the image needs to be 3508 x 4961 pixels.
- At 150 ppi the image needs to be 1754 x 2480 pixels.
