Halloween is an Autumn event that is celebrated by the villagers of the town in the Animal Crossing series. Jack, a character wearing a pumpkin on his head, appears at 6:00 PM until 1:00 AM (5:00 PM until midnight in New Horizons). During this time, villagers around the town will dress up in costumes.
Lollipops are a unique Candy that can be used to obtain exclusive Halloween themed rewards from Jack, the Halloween Czar. The best way for players to obtain Lollipops is by giving your Villagers Candy during the Halloween Event on October 31. Upon giving the villager Candy, you will receive an item in return.
Pumpkins are like the fruits, they don't spoil nor do they disappear if left on the plant.
Once the player has candy, they can either be give it to fellow villagers on Halloween Night, in exchange for spooky items and recipes, pumpkins, or lollipops. Candy can also be given to Jack in exchange for spooky items, or recipes if he is given a lollipop.
These costume items include: Animal nose. Flashy animal costume. Flashy point-ear animal hat.
Jack's Robe can be obtained from Jack by giving him Candy or a Lollipop on Halloween. If worn alongside Jack's Face, it can be used to scare villagers into giving the player Candy. This can be done once per villager.
Halloween 2020 is no longer active. Unfortunately, Halloween on October 31st is time-locked, so you will not be able to play the actual event until real-time. You can still buy candy and Spooky items on display at Nook's Cranny for the whole month of October though.
Jack's Face can be obtained from Jack by giving him Candy or a Lollipop on Halloween. If worn alongside Jack's Robe, it can be used to scare villagers into giving the player Candy. This can be done once per villager.
How To Unlock Halloween Reactions. To unlock the two Halloween Reactions, you will need to be playing on October 31st after 5PM during the Halloween Night event with special character Jack the Pumpkin Czar! By giving Candy to both Jack and villagers, the Haunt and Scare reactions can be unlocked.
- When you give Villagers candy during the Halloween event on October 31st, they will give you Lollipops as thanks.
- Talk to Jack and give him Lollipops to get your hands on some exclusive Halloween themed items and DIYs.
- You will need to give Jack candy first before you will be able to give him Lollipops.
To unlock The Able Sisters Shop you'll need to spend 5,000 Bells in Mabel's pop-up shop. You'll need to have completed the Museum, and Nook's Cranny projects (you'll speak to her first after building these). Later, she'll appear at a stall outside, speak to her, and start buying things.
Able Sisters is a clothing shop/tailor shop, one of the main stores in the Animal Crossing series. It is owned and run by Sable and Mabel, the Able sisters.
The closest thing I've seen is a fairy dress that has wings on the back. There's also a "sweet dress" in two different colors that I've seen with Angel wings on the back.
Lollipops just so happen to be Jack's favorite treat and after giving him two Candies and receiving a replica of his costume, he will begin to ask for Lollipops in exchange for some unique and exclusive rewards. Upon giving Jack a Lollipop he will reward you with an exclusive DIY Recipe for a Halloween themed item.
Halloween Candy can be purchased from Nook's Cranny throughout the month of October inside the cabinet either at the back left in the original store or towards the right in the upgraded shop. Each piece of Halloween Candy at Nook's Cranny costs 120 Bells.
There are 20 different Spooky Set pumpkin items for Halloween in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Each item initially comes in an Orange variation, but you can customize them into different colors of Green, White, and Yellow with pumpkins.
All three new Spooky items can be easily found for sale inside Nook's Cranny in the seasonal slot during the month of October 2021! There is no time lock behind the items, so you're free to time travel right now if you'd like to check them out or purchase one.
If you don't give him candy, he pulls a trick on you, which includes: taking your offered item; turning an inventory item into a Jack-in-the-Box; replacing your top with a Patched Shirt or Moldy Shirt; giving you, or replacing your hat and/or accessory with, a Pumpkin Head helmet.
