Registration is the process by which a company files required documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), detailing the particulars of a proposed public offering. Arrival date – alphabetically listing of all guests arriving on that day. Departure date. This can be used by Housekeeping to determine the level of service given to the room. This helps Housekeeping schedule the order or sequence in which rooms are serviced.

Arrival is defined as the time when a guest arrives and checks in at a hotel. In cases where guests walk into a hotel without a reservation, they immediately jump to the arrival stage of the cycle.
PMS stands for: Property Management System. It is a local hotel administration system used for reservation, availability and occupancy management, check-in/out, images, guest profiles, report generation etc.

A Guest who arrives at a hotel without a reservation is called as 'Walk in'. Hotels have no obligations to accommodate guests who arrive without reservation when no rooms are available for the night.

The process of checking out generally is initiated by the guest. The guest calls up front office and asks to keep the bill ready. The guest arrives at the front desk.
