Typically images will be supplied as JPEGs, and an A4 (210mm x 297mm or 8¼” x 11¾”) image at 72 ppi will create a JPEG of approximately 500kb or half a megabyte. Remember though – to use that image in print we need the image to be 300 ppi, and at that resolution the JPEG will be around 3.5 Megabytes.
Now, although they both have the same size in pixels (3840x5760) the RAW file uses 26.6MB space when on the memory card, while the JPEG uses only 5.12MB.
Steps

- Click Set File Size.
- Type a file size in kBs.
- Click Resize File.

How large should image files be? For ecommerce images, a good rule of thumb is to try to keep your image file size below 70 kb. That can be difficult at times, especially for larger images.
Photo size should be equal to or less than 100-200 KB with 200 dpi. The dimension should be 3.5 cm width by 4.5 cm height.
So for 60 mins if you use around 2.2 GB, There is a lot of variance of the file size of videos, but the average for 720p is around 4 MB per minute. That would mean on average it would take 40 MB of your data allowance to watch the 10 minute 720p video.

5MB Maximum for Attachment File Size is extremely low
Please up your maximum file size for attachments (documents & photos). A simple Gmail account allows you to upload attachments that are up to 25MB, so only allowing for 5MB is very low.For a 4" x 6" print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum. For a 5" x 7" print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. For an 8" x 10" print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum. For a 16" x 20" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum.
A typical typed page without any images contains about two kilobytes, or 1,024 bytes of information. A megabyte, therefore, can support about 500 typed pages.
How to Resize a Photo
- Open the folder that holds the picture you want to resize.
- Right click on the thumbnail of the picture you want to edit. A dropdown menu will appear.
- Select Resize Pictures from the menu.
- Select the size that you want the photo to be (small, medium, large or handheld PC) and click OK.
A high-resolution image is anything that has at is 300 dpi high resolution with a larger pixel dimension, for example, 5000 x 4000 pixels. If you have an image that is 640 x 40 at 72dpi, you definitely have too small of an image!
A 4Mb Word document is trivial. Word can handle files of up to 512Mb in size, with up to 32Mb of text. Of course, such a file will perform slowly.

How to make an image 100 KB or under while maintaining a viewable scale:
- Start with a high resolution image.
- Open the image in Photoshop.
- Click Image -> Image Size.
- First change the Image?
- Next click File - > Save for Web (or Save for Web & Devices)
- There are tab options that say original or 2-Up.
