The entry-level VW Tiguan S starts at $25,995, which makes it a touch pricier than most of its competitors. Models with AWD start at $27,495. The SE starts at $29,495, while the R-Line sits at $32,295 for the SE R-Line Black and $36,595 for the SEL R-Line.
highline comes with audio system, airbags and abs system, comfortline is midpriced version and comes in many colours, trendline is basic model only white and red colour available, power windows only at front.
Electric windows and heated electric mirrors are standard, but Trendline adds an armrest, side door storage and additional sound deadening. Opting for top-spec Highline adds a heated windscreen, automatic lights and wipers, climate control and a leather-covered steering wheel.

Volkswagen has released pricing for its new Tiguan SUV that will hit dealerships across South Africa from July. Pricing starts from R521 000, and customers can choose from three 1.4-litre TSI units producing 110kW and a more powerful 2.0-litre TSI derivative that makes 162kW.
To start, the R-Line appearance package adds unique front and rear bumpers with stylized air inlets up front, wheel arch extensions around the wheel openings, and 20-inch wheels within those openings, in addition to R-Line side skirts and exterior badging. It's a subtle but slightly racy addition to the regular Tiguan.
